  1. It's been his family's wish to keep the reason of his death a secret. I'm not in a position to talk about it. Sorry...
  2. From an interview with Gelal/Pogrom: "In fact, the best thing for this country would be for a certain non-white Democratic candidate to win the presidency (and yes, to point out the obvious, he is a very impressive, accomplished man, not the 'simian abomination' referenced above; people should be more discerning when interpreting blanket statements; a country full of men like him would be a far worthier country than one crammed full of corpulent white trash rednecks)." All I see is a man with the balls to say that some humans are of greater worth than others, and an admittedly non-pc and often brash humor. Nothing else.
  3. It's funny how GBK never actually made any statements regarding their political views. Their so-called "racism" is and has always been the mind-product of left-wing paranoia. I talk to Cazz (The Black Lourde...) on the regular and he's the absolute last person I'd refer to as a racist. That guy holds a great love for all women on planet earth
  4. I'd take Koxbox over any of the names mentioned, but that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. I see what you're getting at though and it makes sense. Not trying to steal the topic or anything, but do you guys rate California Sunshine and GMS as "legendary" acts?
  5. Yes I'm aware of Kaiaphas hehe. Here's a couple of pictures from a private GBK concert we held here in Copenhagen just before Richie died:
  6. Javelin was responsible for some of the most groundbreaking Hardcore Techno mixes ever done by DJ legends like Manu Le Malin, Lenny Dee etc. I can't speak for the Goa mixes, but this label definitely wasn't known for peddling crappy products.
  7. I used to be friends with Niklas from Shining/Selbstmord Services. That's as far as I ever got into the "depressive" scene. I was personally more into the NED bands like Watain, Deathspell Omega, Katharsis and so on. Even distributed the early Watain tapes among other things.
  8. True. I've always found it wierd how some seem to almost categorically deny it's existence. Growing up being a huge fan of Metal led me on a journey though the world of guitar-driven music. From the earliest blues recordings to the abstract vistas of extreme Metal. Always on the hunt for something new, something different. I just cannot fathom how some people can stick to a single subgenre for years and years. It seems fundametally at odds with the basic curiosity it takes to discover such a thing in the first place. Sure Progressive isn't Goa, but Goa isn't Progressive either. They each hold their own unique qualities and potential.
  9. I hope there'll be a sequel to Dredd. One of the few comic adaptions that didn't sucked big time.
  10. Human bones, coffin nails...
  11. Just listened to True while walking through nighttime Copenhagen. Just WOW.
  12. Was just listening to Possessed from Earth Moving The Sun. What an amazing fucking track. I love his sophisticatedly simple sound. How do you guys feel about Freeland and his music these days?
  13. Various - Halluci-Nations (CD, Comp) Crop Circles - Full Mental Jackpot EP (CD, EP) Crop Circles - Lunar Civilization EP (CD, EP)
  14. Waiting for a plane at the Vienna airport...
  15. Great idea for a thread. Will spin my disc as soon as I get home
  16. Good question... This was a loong time ago... Probably Sheyba's Ganesh, Crop Circles's Lunar Civilization and Koxbox's Fuel On.
  17. Never thought of The Great Unknown as a Progressive album, but it makes perfect sense. Now I'll have to reevaluate my list dammit
  18. Another thread: http://www.psynews.org/forums/index.php/topic/62555-heavy-pounding-minimal-psy/
  19. Rotwang spoiled the beauty of this thread
  20. Not ashamed of anything I listen to.
  21. Thanks. the track was recorded with no computer, directly to tape (hence the raw sound...). It needs some editing and mastering. Could be a good intro/outro for a live set maybe. Ps. The lady is actually a doll for doctors to practice on
  22. Only track I have uploaded is this one I recently made with a friend. Somber Acid...
  23. I was thinking the exact same thing not too long ago haha. Funny
  24. I don't think a single Progressive album made it to the lists in the other thread, so here's one for those. Progressive and Minimal has been brought up quite a lot lately, so I'm more than a little curious to see what albums you guys like Picking albums was hard as many of the best tracks only made it to vinyl and compilations, but my list ended up looking like this: Atmos - Headcleaner Auricular - Audion Beat Bizarre - Lewd Cujorius One - The Art of Mindfucking Haldolium - Deagua K.U.R.O. - Satisfaction Noma - Navigator Process - One Drop or Two? Shiva Chandra - Auricular X-Dream - Radio
