  1. Just checked disocgs and their last release is indeed from 2002. I didn't know they went down. Don't have much of their stuff but still I'm a bit puzzled that I didn't know about it (or that I just couldn't remember).
  2. Only 2934 posts to go for you! Peace of cake...
  3. Deleted some off-topics comments (I'll try die you and stuff), it's not necessary to spam the general forum with that stuff. Thanks guys...
  4. No, I was directed to a EP on Tip Records, one track by 1200 Mics and a remix by Hujaboy.
  5. According to the info in Saikosounds the tracks on the EP are by 1200 Mics, guess we can await a new 1200 Mics album then. I personally look forward to that... No samples for Synsun available, so I don't have a clue. The samples of the Future Prophecy album sound AMAZING!!!!!!!!! Very trancy and dreamy but I like that. A must have for me for sure.
  6. Human - Sunday Morning Fantastic tune, way better than the usual generic psy....
  7. I'm listening to the Broken MP3 album by Burn In Noise. Very nice full-on.
  8. Thanks! Yeah, insert your collection and post a link here. I love sneaking through other people's accounts!
  9. Tatsu Records (well, they're out of business but not for long, so it shouldn't be a problem to find their records in the stores) Mental Arts (German label)
  10. A Swiss label: Traktor Records
  11. Pffff, this will never happen to me.... I have a lot of trance vinyls (more than psy/goa stuff if you don't count the psy CDs I have) and I really enjoy that style. No matter if it's old hardtrance/rave or new trance stuff. I still go to trance parties and I enjoy myself a lot there (it's been some time since the last one, but I'm not going out much anymore). I don't care what people think about this music, for me there are tracks that move me in a similar way like psy does, with or without drugs. It takes some time of digging to find the real good records (the one I consider real good... ) but it's worth it for me.
  12. There's a special forum for trading CDs and the likes, please post your wantlist there (if you ever get it in a format you appreciate... ).
  13. Ouch, he said sites not "styles"... Stupid me.
  14. Hard to say, it depends what kind of psy you like. There is some regular trance (club trance like Tiesto) that is worth checking out if you like melodic uplifting stuff. Some progressive has nice prog house and electro influences. Everything ambiend and downtempo stuff is also nice. Then there is dub that is also cool. If you are into techpsy you should check out techno and techtrance. Well, basicly check out everything to find out what suits you!!
  15. I really appreciate nice covers and stuff like pictures discs and other special digipacks. But I stopped buying CDs just for the cover, I do buy special vinyls from time to time even if I don't know the song (like the Haldulium picture disc) but not CDs. There are so many covers I like in psy, I can't buy them all. So why bother starting... I've boucht the Pet Shop Boys album Very when it was freshly out because it had a very special digipack: orange plastic with dots on it. Fortunately I absolutely love the tracks on it so it's not really a problem.
  16. Good work people! I'm still waiting for Nemo's info site about old music but this is ok too.
  17. Guess that's the whole point of it, to make it easier.
  18. I don't really get you? If you do a beatmatch and let the tracks play together for a longer time instead of just making a fast switch, they have to have the same speed unless you wanna correct one track by hand all the time or unless you don't mind trainwrecks. If you know the BPMs for that, it takes less time to adjust the tracks, at least if you are not very good at it yet of course.
  19. You're welcome! I also prefere using the jogwheel since it's a somewhat similar feeling like mixing with vinyls. But to each his own.
  20. Have you checked Psyshop and Saikosounds to see if they allready display the CD?
  21. Maybe you should ask that the threadstarter and not me how he will use the written down BPMs? IMHO the written down BPMs have the aim of giving you an idea of the speed, you sure have to make the adjustments of the track yourself by trying and listening to the beats in the headphone so see if you have them right or not.
  22. Oh I forgot, it's about how you look and not about the music you play... As much as I know you write down the BPMs at the first listen and then still look in the booklet when you use the CD for mixing.
  23. I don't agree. It's about making a good set and track selection. If you do the technical party by calculating the BPM, by writing them down or by hearing them does imho not make a difference. If it makes one, you have to tell me which one!
  24. Mine is! At least accurate enough for me to mix with my vinyls and CDs to make some tapes. Don't know if it would work for a party, but I'll never dj psy at a party anyway so why bother.
