  1. Also voted for CD. It took me quite some time until I heard the first MP3 file.
  2. Nemo left AFTER he posted the announcement and stuff. He was still admin when that happened and as an admin he had the right to post the announcement. About the ban itself, since moni allready posted some details I'll add some more from my point (I was also against the ban): Interpreting moni's text in the way that Cinos got only banned because he had issues with Nemo is not entirely correct. The reasons for the ban that were posted were the real ones (spreading negativity and such). BUT not all mods agreed that those incidents are enough for a ban of this lenght (or a ban at all). Unfortunately the admin(s) allready banned him and even when several mods would have agreed to a shorter ban (some of the mods are also ok with this ban, even when they would have agreed to a shorter one, so it's not only an admin thing) there was no way of changing the ban for us.
  3. From what I've heard their new music should be rather different than before (guess it's more commercial or whatever). I saw them live in October 04 and I've enjoyed it a lot! That's all I can say.
  4. So, what did you order in the end? Hey Journey Man, I love your new avatar!
  5. Saw them live once, was nice music. Much more varied and interesting than their CD (not meant in a bad way, I'm just not much into progressive ). I'm going to download the set when my gf has internet again.
  6. I forgot to list something I got on Sathurday: Revolve Magazine Winter 05 http://www.discogs.com/release/623251
  7. I'm sorry but you are not forced to read the off-topic if you don't like it. Nobody holds you back to post interesting topics in the general section, in fact I would appreciate that very much. I also don't that much in the general section to be honest, not because I'm not interested in psytrance but mainly because I'm here for a long time and I've seen a lot of topics in the general section. I still try to help people with suggestions and stuff but I have a hard time to open new topics that are interesting. Same goes for a lot of other old-timers I suppose. I don't know why you are so negative about the off-topic. If you look back to the time before the hack there was way more spam and/or freestyle topics (or more topics in general because there were more people posting). I don't think it's that bad at the moment. It's also what I think. Nobody is forced to read any posts they don't like. And they are even less forced to post a reply. There even is the ignore function that fîlters out the users you don't like. I mean the topics got only that many pages because people keep on argueing and replaying to Cinos. If they (well, me included) wouldn't have done that, the topics would have died...
  8. Filteria - Reflected I'm listening to the album for the first time, this is so far my favourite track (also regarding the first album).
  9. I also like some of the Vaya Copn Dios tracks, nice pop music...
  10. There is an old hardcore track (not happyhardcore but real hard stuff) that starts with the Bonny Tyler song Hearthache. She's singing with a very high-pitched voice and then you hear a needle scratching over the vinyl and then the song really starts. Damn funny!
  11. HAHA! *points with finger at OD* Ok, I must admit I also like some or her songs but I would NEVER sing along.
  12. Guess we're more or less in the same situation then... I haven't ruined my live with it but I sure use too much money with it and stuff. I agree about the creativity, for me it's not about making music but to write. I wrote two match reports for my team while I wason coke and they were really good (I got told that). I mean I'm a good writer but it gives me the extra inch of selfconfidence to be even better. Plus it's just a great feeling listening to music and playing videogames when I'm high as a kite.
  13. Mh, I feel like a lot of psynewsers would see several items of my CD-collection (not the psy one) as guilty pleasure! But I openly admit that I still like stuff like Dr. Alban, Maxx and other 90ies stuff. Also a lot of commercial pop or commercial hip-hop from MTV. I like the 50 Cent song Window Shoper for example... Don't know if this counts as guilty pleasure since I'm not really feeling guilty. Coke is the ultimate guilty pleasure for me. I know I shouldn't take it but I still do...
  14. Yesterday was a good day. Got my offer from Chaosunlimited: Lamat - Master Controle EP http://www.discogs.com/release/545073 v/A - Posotive Alchemists Vol. 1 http://www.discogs.com/release/568294 Khetzal - Corole http://www.discogs.com/release/551261 Filteria - Helopolis http://www.discogs.com/release/600081 v/A - Myhtos Production 2006 (Spliff Music) not on discogs yet Then I went to the local psystore to use my gif voucher and got this: Yahel - Super Set http://www.discogs.com/release/575786 Burn In Noise - Broken MP3 http://www.discogs.com/release/439786
  15. Downloading right now, hope it's as good as your livesets... Going to give you feedback after a few listens.
  16. The Cranberries - You & Me The Burry The Hatched album is by far my favourite Cranberries album (and I love all of them). I'm singing along the tunes at work, fortunately I'm alone...
  17. Ok, one of the best maybe! NP: Voice Of Cod - Bubbles Of Nothing
  18. New Order - True Faith Best fucking pop song ever!!!!
  19. I know what you mean but for me it's still a form of taste. There is some nice psy I like but it doesn't get under my skin. I can listen to it and enjoy it but nothing more. And then there's psy that's not just nice but that makes the hairs on my arm get punkies because of bliss. That's what you mean I guess, some sort of deeper connection. But it's still taste since I get not moved with the same tracks than you do. Or than Nemo, or than anybody else. Maybe we share some tracks that do the trick for us but not all.
  20. Shhhhhht, it's some sort of secret code...
