To get back on topic: I've experienced the same but this is not exactly a surprise imho. I mean if you really like a tune it's nothing but normal that it means more to you than just some random music you don't really appreciate.

You must have been pretty loaded then! I wonder why they even make a razzia when in the end people are able to get free weed?! But it's nothing but fair if you get sort of paid for the waiting.

@ Opium: I think it's nice if people write a bit more than just an artist name and the title of the songs. Read some nice stuff in that thread. I'm listening to Guns'n'Roses - November Rain. Oh the memories... Been to two concerts in the nineties, both with my mom, oh this rocked... Still like their music a lot, they had a lot of all time classics and Axl's voice is just great.

I've got antoher one, maybe it's not progressive enough but I sort of re-discovered that album today: Arkanoid - Best Off. I especially love the Walking On Air track but the rest is also very nice.

I absolutely know this feeling (but I don't really dig that track from the sample )! I once had a track on an old mixtape with a very wicked acidline. I fell in love with that track after the first hearing but I knew there is no chance of getting a tracklist or anything. So no track for me. Some months later I received a pack of vinyls from Ebay, switched through the tracks and there it was, Bassline Baby - Altered State, my track form the tape. Accidentaly bought over Ebay, PWNS!! Same happened to me with a track I've heard in a DJ set from Eyal Yankovich years ago, Xerox - In My Brain. It's the best feeling ever to find tracks this way.

Did you allready give it a listen? I have his morning-sound CD (CDr) and I like it a lot. I wonder how his first official album sounds.

Have you tried the new Element album? It has some nice moments imho.

Could be possible that you allready knew it but have you tried Mandylion - Toxic and Mad Contrabender - Illegal Hardwear? Both from Midjium records, I really like them. Somwhat progressive but also very melodic.

And if remember right the reviews had nothing to do with if the album was highlighted in red or not. There were polls do chose the best albums. But I might be wrong, it's loooong ago... Yeah, I agree to that. The point is that for example with children, if you have the same taste like he had, his remarks gave you a pretty good view if you might like the album or not. It's not only like that with children but also with other well-known names of reviews. It's still a bit like that with new reviews (and I'm far from bashing the new reviews, the new reviews also help me, just in a different way) but it's more about describing the tracks instead of stating your own taste.
