Guess that's why it was not released on a "proper" label then. But since it's a Swiss group I feel like supporting them. Especially when they do some goa stuff.

Ordered this about half a minute ago on the chakradelic webpage. Can't wait to listen to it!!

There's a sample that gets repeated again and again. It's a male voice saying "from the wierd to the insane" and I'm sure I've heard this before. I can't tell if it's from a movie or if I know it from another track. It could be from a track but I don't have a clue which one. Does anybody know where it is from?

I've discovered this on discogs when I wanted to add Neelix - No Way To Leave to my wantlist. Here's the link Neelix - Resident. Has anybody heard it? I really wonder what style it is. I know it is marked as psytrance but that's a wide area... If there is somebody who has it I really like to know if it's in the same style as No Way To Leave...

Manu Chao - Me gustas tu

I got this CD from a friend and I have to say I really like it. The style is, as described above, a blend of progressive and full-on elements together with some voice samples. For me this works perfect, I even appreciate the samples! It's not the "boring" (no offense please) psyprogressive I can't stand but it's also not one of the full-on clones that allready exist more than enough. A really nice album and I'm soon going to buy it for myself.

Thanks god it's from Shpongle and not Hallucinogen, like that I can ignore. I'm not that interested in some more Shpongles tracks and thet booklet. But imagining a Hallucinogen Boxset like that: the two CDs, a booklet with some art (well, I could live without that), and one or two extra CDs (maybe even a live one)... *creams her pants*

Just got this CD from a trade with Tox: Space Safari - Early Reflexions http://www.discogs.com/release/117798 Haven't found the time to listen to it, I need to be in the special mood when I listen to proggy stuff. Or I can't enjoy it.

My favourite of that year was and still is Space Cat - Mechanical Dream. It's full on but for me very original with lots of elements that remind me on old-school goa.

I would like to see 1200 Mics, Zorba and GMS for the first time, wouldn't mind to see Astrix and IM again. But I guess there will be way more DJs and live acts so hopefully they will ad some more killargs!

I haven't seen too many live acts since I rarely go to parties. But I can tell you about Sub6 and Cosmic Tone live from NYE. It might not be exactly your style but you never said only your style is wanted in that thread... Cosmic Tone was very nice. I was a bit unsure about the music since on his album (Going Solo) all the tracks sound very similar, the same effects again and again. It's nice music but I thought it might be boring. To my delight he added a few new layers or effects and it was really suitable for the dancefloor. Sub6 was also very good, he played a lot of fast tracks that were good for the dancefloor, interesting material (but of course it was full-on so be prepared...).
