  1. 1. CDs that spinned in your CD-player the most (artist albums). I really don't have a clue. 2. CDs that spinned in your CD-player the most (compilations). v/a - Exotica (Mahagony Records) 3. Best label. Compact 4. Live acts that impressed you the most. Prodigy live at Gurten Festival, Cosmic Tone and Sub6 live at NYE. Ok were: Astrix and Schädelleuchten and Genetic Noise 5. Live acts that disappointed you. - 6. DJs sets that rocked your dancefloor. Genetic Noise, that was one of the best sets ever!! Darkmoon's set at NYE was also great. 7. DJs sets that made you leave the dancefloor. - 8. Best party. Electronic Woods would have been perfect if they didn't have to turn out the music at 4 o'clock. Besids that: A new world in a new year (NYE) 9. Best festival. I've only been to the Gurtenfestival 10. Best deco. Also at a new world in a new year, was by psygarden from Germany and Rumpelpilz 11. Best drink/beverage. Blue wodka with either red bull or apple juice 12. Best drug/trip. MDMA powder mixed with a bit of speed. Also had a very nice mushroom trip but it was only half as fun because my gf wasn't around. 13. Best moment/experience. Mh, Billy Idol live was great, having a great time with my gf. 14. Worst moment/experience. Nothing to bad has happened in 2005 when I compare it with 2004... 15. Best non-psy. Disturbed - Ten Thousand Fists In The Air
  2. Yep, that's hard stuff. I feel especially sorry for the old lady. But all the characters are tragic. I'm listening to Hallucinogen live at DNA lounge. Great stuff...
  3. Space Cat - Mechanical Age (hope I got the name right, I mean his newest album) is also great. Well, nearly everything from Space Cat is great...
  4. Good boy you are!! *gives EP a cookie*
  5. Which nearly nobodoy uses anyway...
  6. Got a nice bunch of vinyls, just gave them a very short listen but they rock! Moonweed - Aum-Life / Celestial (Aquatec Records) http://www.discogs.com/release/299025 Moonweed - Aardvark / It Happens (Celtic Records) http://www.discogs.com/release/48906 Bassline Baby - Made In Poland EP (Step2House) http://www.discogs.com/release/136420 Somaton - Ouroboros / Brainwashed (Celitic Records) http://www.discogs.com/release/103626 v/A - 3D 3 x LP (TIP Records) http://www.discogs.com/release/110538
  7. Stuff from Yahel is usually very uplifting, the Waves Of Sound album is especially a blast. Then the Timeless comp. from Utopia Records has some great melodic tracks on it. Older stuff like Jaia - Mai Mai is also on my mind. There's a comp from SST called Lightbeams, I also like this a lot. Hope that helps a bit...

Sounds pretty bad! Can't you make the insurance of your flight company pay for it?
  9. A burned CD with lots of old trance stuff on it, stuff like Naghachian, Paragon, Paragliders and others. Can't name the tracks but it's just great!!

The way he says it is bitching, because he's exagerating a bit and acting out in the typical Cinos manner. But the message behinds it stays the same: he doesn't like voice samples (but he likes the rest of your track, have you even notice that?). Matter of taste I say... And about constructive critism: well, there are a lot of threads with bitching about full-on with no single word of constructive critism just because some people here absolutely dislike this style. I never saw you complain about this... Btw. I also agree with the statement above.

True, but you can still tell the painter that you dislike this and that part of his painting. You don't need to be an expert to do that, it's only taste, not knowledge. It's up to him if he changes the picture or maybe not even take you serious. Also this is a part of personal taste and not about knowledge imho. Even two people who make music as professionels can disagree about (for example) a bassline beeing good or not. I mean look at full-on, you strongly disslike it because it's boring and repetitive, there are other artists who really like it. So who is wrong then? Nobody of course, it's taste.
  12. I'm listening to the DJ-mix from Jens M from the 10 years ago thread. Wicked stuff!!
  13. I'm waiting exactly for that vinyl to arrive in my mail!
  14. I'm listening to the Awaking Process album from Freakulizer.

Very nice pics, you look typically Swedish or viking like to me. Don't know why but it's nice!

Sounds like you had a lot of fun and also like the party was a blast. Melodic music all the way and even some nice old-school tracks in the morning. Exactly what I would need to jump around all night... Too bad you are not satisfied with your DJ-set, but at last you could play your live gig without a problem. For me this would be more important since technical problems in a mixset are one thing, but making a bad performance (or a breaking soundcart) is way worse. Anyway, I hope you will recover soon from your party and the travelling!
  17. The you could finally give Raja a blow job!
  18. Hei Aaron, I didn't know you have a kid. Wish you the best for your family! I also had to cut down on the stuff, first I did it every weekend because it was just so great, but then it make me feel bad. Not directly after taking it but during the week, no motivation to do anything besides going to work (because I had to), watch TV and wait for the weekend. Not exactly a surprise... It's losing its magic if you overuse it, the dosage makes the poison so to say. It's interesting to see that there are other persons who had the same experience with XTC like I had. And that they are now still feeling fine.
  19. The Hallucinogen mousepad looks pretty neat. I guess I'll buy that the next time I order something from psyshop.
  20. The positive thing about having too many labels: Some of the small and/or unknown labels release stuff that is not the usual mainstream psy but something rather unique. It makes it harder to find it because there are so many releases, labels and artists but it also gives the scene more diversity.
  21. Can't vote for any of that. I'm mainly mixing in the night since I have to work all day. It feels nice when it's dark but I can't listen to the music in my favourite sound level because I would wake up the neighbours. It's also nice to mix on a bright Sathurday or Sunday afternoon, some nice uplifting trance and sunshine mixes just perfect.
  22. Bassline Baby - Altered States One of the best acid/goa/trance/whatever songs of all time...
  23. Yes, tracklist would be great, I don't have the time to download something I don't even have a clue what style it might be...
  24. I have two things to add to this thread (besides my first post of course): First about Devious' post: xtc did exactly the same to me. I wasn't a hacker but felt pretty lonely, depressed and generally like a piece of shit. After taking xtc for the first time, I've changed for the better. I still take it (more than only once in a blue moon) and I still love it. And about the DJ mix: I'm sure going to download it, it looks great!!!!
