  1. Madonna - Hung Up I quite like that song, especially because she's so right about my working day: time goes by, so slowly... As soon as my co-worker is gone, I can also blast psy. There's nothing better than psy at the office (speaking about work I mean).
  2. I was finally able to use my gift voucher I got for x-mas so I'm the proud owner of some new CDs: Lamat - Master Controlle http://www.discogs.com/release/591722 v/A - Buckle Up Vol. 2 (The Trancelucent Garage) http://www.discogs.com/release/486867 Just bought it because it was half the price, the cover is rather disturbing for a psy cd but the Electro Sun and the Misted Muppets tracks are nice. v/A - Deep Impact http://www.discogs.com/release/566032 I love that CD, best tracks are from Frequed Frequency and Alternative Controle. I also went to the Media Markt superstore and bought two Dr. Snuggles DVDs and my gf got me the Garfield movie. I also bought Melanie C. - First Day Of My Life http://www.discogs.com/release/572267
  3. Madonna - Hollywood A nice song on the radio for once.
  4. You whole post is great and resembels more or less exactly what I think. But I especially love you for that last sentence. You really made my day Nemo!

    Review Requests

Come on, no holding back! Don't wait until somebody ask, review whatever you like. Maybe it's stuff we don't even know about it. I'm always keen to hear about new music!
  6. All facts are opinions somehow but maye not ultimate opinions?
  7. Maybe because he's curious which tracks got remixed? NP: Yahel - Liquid Love
  8. Once again a personal opinion is called fact...
  9. I think (I don't know if it really is like that) when a track is feat. somebody then the name that is mentioned first was doing most of the track and the second person just made some small modifications or added somethin extra. For example Astrix feat. Michelle Adamson - Closer To Heaven. Astrix did the track and Michelle just the singin.
  10. Congrats, that's really a bargain! The only reasonable deal I made lately is finding the Jupiter 8000 album for about 2.95 Euros plus shipping. But since it's not rare or anything that's nothing too special.
  11. Here's the tracklist: 1. Mi-Loony-um (A foating butterfly mix) 2. Solstice (Bass monkey mix) 3. Gamma goblins (all the way down mix) 4. Spiritual antiseptic (Confidence mix) 5. L.S.D. (closed string mix) 6. Angelic particles (buckminster mix) All the tracks are great but I especially like Solstice and LSD. NP: Das - Paros 2000 It's some old Nitzhonot but I really like it, the melody is simple but just great.
  12. Yeah, buy it immediately, it's great! NP: Sixsense - Tropical Magic
  13. I personally would like to hear an old classic: Yahel - For The People (the version on the first album). Long calm first part and then the great synth line. But that's just me...
  14. Sauron was the big bad guy but there was another wizzard helping him named Saruman. I guess he meant this one. He was living in a big tower that was torn appart by the Ents.
  15. Love that song!!! I'm listening to Jamelia - Superstar. Don't blame me, it's on the radio...
  16. I don't mind serious musicians but this whole "we listen to the right kind of music, they listen to the wrong kind of music"-behaviour starts to annoy me more and more. That's what brings this scene down if you ask me (regarding at gnome's post). Anyway, I can see why some people might see the goa spirit in some 1200 Mics tracks. I also see them but I still wouldn't call it neo-goa or something like that. In the end it doesn't make a difference anyway, if you like it you listen to it no matter how the style is called. If you don't like it calling it goa wouldn't make it any better.
  17. Not really, you are not my browser...
  18. And I hate it when my browser at work doesn't display the istratrance links....
  19. I wouldn't say that there is not enough varitety in the scene. I mean look how many subgenres we have here: full-on, melodic, new-school goa, morning full-on, progressive, minimal, housy progressive, uplifting progressive, dark psy, ambient and so on. There are also more releases coming out than before, means there are also more bad releases. But when you dig deep enough you will sure find stuff you like. And about the bashing: Even when you don't like the music, I don't understand why some people need to post how much they hate full-on on every possible moment. I mean I also don't like minimal so why even enter a thread about it when I know before that it's something I can not appreciate anyway?
  20. Me too... Besides that I absolutely agree with Insejn, I personally think that full-on is way more psychedelic than minimal. Once again it's a question of personal taste and preferences. The last thing I would do is tripping and listen to minimal psy, that would freak me out a lot I think. But full-on would be great. For other people it's exactly the opposite but that's fine for me. There are a lot of releases in all the genres to make everybody happy. I also don't like all full-on but for my understanding some (well, the ones that I think they are good ) full-on releases are way closer to old-school goa than a lot of progressive stuff is. But that's just my taste and my understanding. I mean there are old-school artists that have moved into progressive stuff but also some that make full-on. To each his own...
  21. Nice topic! I also get the sunny feeling when listening to some tracks. Especially when it's uplifting stuff like Yahel - Waves Of Sound. This somehow reminds me of a sunny spring day... The LSD track from Hallucinogen also does it to me, not the other Hallucinogen songs but this one for sure. I also got to think about goblins and elves and stuff like that when I listen to the second Hallucinogen album. It has a darker feelings in the tracks, but in a good way. But I get a lot of different feelins from psy, from sentimental moments until carefree happiness and also dark waves I get everything.
  22. I've moved the post from Radi6404 in the other topic, don't worry. edit by mars : I heard what happened here and my opinion is that if you don't produce anything, then you can't decently spread an easy judgment, but only be respectful at those who -at least- spend some effort and DO something. Thx Rain for contributing, thx Tatsu for the cleaning.
