I liked the two last 1200 Mics albums too... Damn, I need money to buy all the new CDs I want!!

I was finally able to listen to the samples from the first view tracks at saikosounds. Doesn't sound that bad, in fact I'm thinking about buying it. I would even say that I like it more than their last album.

Sure, there is good and bad music in every genre. Exactly my point of view... There's even some progressive I like! It would be great if you could upload me some tracks. I'm really curious about this music... Hehe, Moni the music explanator....

I'll try to, I mean you get used to it after a while! And I'm glad to hear that the party was good. But I'm a bit surprised that even you liked the full-on set better. Seems like it was a blast! Any link to a live set or homepage of the live act?

I'm following the for quite a while now and it's interesting to see both side. But in the end it's (once again) about taste. Some people can get in trance with full-on, some can't. Some people find full-on psychedelic, some don't... As you can imagine I belong to the first sort of people in both statements. I get often pissed-off by the endless full-on bashing here but it's also cool to see that a normal discussion about this topic is possible.

You should have told me that sooner. Anyway, I have the comp twice now since my first disc was scratched...

Sensum - Ghost Logic In fact I'm listening to the whole Nocturnal Transmission to decide if I should put it on my tradelist or not. The first song is awesome (Going Mad), I remember that I wasn't really moved by the rest.

I gave it a listen at Saikosounds, doesn't sound bad but some of the other tracks (well, didn't listen to all of the tracks and only the samples...) impressed me more. But the comp seems to fit my taste, it's definitely on my wantlist now.

Just listened to the (short) samples, the remix sounds interesting. Also the tracks by Tristan vs. Laughing Buddha and Alternate Vision. Guess I will give it a closer listen when it's in my local shop.

Those are different bands most of all?! The difference in the music is quite big (ok, I know only songs by Stereo MCs). Boomfunk MCs make some electro that you could make breakdance to together with rap lyrics. Stereo MCs make more groove stuff, slower and a tiny bit housy also with rap lyrics. Don't know exactly how to name the styles but to me it sounds very different.

Oh yes, Boomfunk MCs... Still have that album and actually likeing it. Nice electro b-boy commercial style.

Exactly... People seem to take it very personal if artists change their style. Unless they're starting to make progressive, because that's cool.

Hard to say, I've bought a lot of albums but I'm not so sure if the ones I'm going to mention are all from 2005. Haven't heard it, where was it released? All I can say is that I really liked (and still do!) the GMS remix, it's better than the original mix. So I'm kinda curious about the new mix.

A cover of the track Sweet Sixteen, original by Billy Idol. Now a buy or band plays some kind of country version of it. Doesn't sound that bad but it's a little strange. Anyway, it's on the radio, not that you think I actually bought it...

Hehe, I like Cherry Cherry Lady better, but I guess it doesn't make much of a difference...
