  1. I'd also recommend Interegalactic - The Future. Besides that try the new Nystagmus album and the Synsun album.
  2. My mother also was a hippie and she and my dad used to listen to music a lot so I think this had a big influence on me. She had a lot of vinyls from the 70ies, stuff like Stones, Deep Purple Steamhammer, Pink Floyd but also Vangelis. I know she also used to take drugs when she was way younger (psychedelics but also other stuff) and she was very open to everything in general. When I grew up she also adopted newer styles I was listening to. I started with tock like Guns'n'Roses, Nirvana, Faith No More but soon I got into electronica. First Rave stuff like Marusha and Westbam and of course Eurotrance and all the stuff on MTV like The Shamen, Messiah and so on. Also hip-hop. After going to some parties when I was around 20 I discovered goa/psytrance and stuck with it until now (but I still like the other styles). It was pretty cool since my mother liked it also and I was able to buy her some nice CDs for X-Mas and stuff. So I think for me the roots are important...
  3. Sounds damn interesting, must put this on my wantlist in discogs...
  4. To me it sounds as I will love both albums...
  5. Thanks for clearing that up. I'll give it a listen, when it's upflifting progressive I might like it. And it wouldn't be bad to have at least one Tatsu CD in my collection.
  6. Depeche Mode - Playing The Angel I've just heard half of the CD but so far Precious is the best song on it. Love it...
  7. I don't think you show your hipothalamus often!!
  8. Don't worry, EVERYBODY here is prepared for that!!!
  9. Alternative Control vs. Freaked Frequency - Emoticon Uh that melody is just so damn great!!!!
  10. No I don't think you are hypercritic. I guess I just care less for the mixing than you do since I like most tracks on the comp anyway.
  11. v/A - BPM FM Trance on air Don't know exactly which track is playing atm...
  12. I guess you are right about the cover art. I mean this can't be taken seriously and even when he is a drugged old granpa he sure knows that this is beyond good and bad. So he must do it with purpose. About the rest of your post: it's about taste. I've expected worse from a comp from Raja Ram (mixing skills I mean)...
  13. I don't really undestand, is this Sweet Sister a track or an album by Space Safari? I can't find anything with that name on Saikosounds.
  14. Röyskopp - Only This Moment One of the most perfect songs on earth...
  15. Very nice collection! Tell us when the vinyls are added...
  16. Haven't heard the Voice Of Cod (but it's on my wantlist...) but I do have 1200 Mics and Raja Ram. I like both CDs a lot. 1200 Mics is what you can expect, if you like their sound, you will like the live CD. The tracks sound different than on the albums and are mixed together. Raja Rams comp is also good. Nice israeli full-on (not skazi like), some with vocals and eveything with nice melodies. The mixing is also ok since Raja Ram didn't mix it himself but just chose the tracks. I guess most people here will bash both albums but if you are intro that kind of sound it's a good release (imho).
  17. Great site! And good to know that a new album will be out soon...
  18. Yes, they are absolutely great! The Antidote - Empty Dot
  19. I guess it's on the v/A - Natural Selection CD from Nano Records.
