I'm downloading this mix at the very moment and I think I might like it. Thanks for posting it!

It's sad you are leaving but at least it seems that you are not gone forever... I wish you luck with your family and maybe see you at the gathering!
-
Oh yes, I also love this album. Especially the track The Future, what a bomb!! Good to hear I'm not the only one who likes it!!!
-
I would make morning full-on, maybe melodic progressive, regular trance and of course goa! I don't think I will ever come to produce something since I neither have the gear nor any time to invest in making tracks.

I understand what you mean by your last post but I also would never lie and cheat on my girlfriend or to myself, even if I have about 30 DJ sets or othern MP3s on my PC that I have downloaded and maybe about 15 burned CDs (which is an aboslutely nothing compared to my collection of original music). I also don't think that I'm a lesser person than you because of that (but also not a better person, just to clarify that) and I don't feel bad about it at all. I still would like to know what you have to say about my question, I still think you haven't propper answered it? Maybe I just don't understand your answer as an answer because we have a very different view of life? I mean I agree that some things in life are not easy, but if I would take all things in life on the hard way then they sooner or later would drown me. Some things in life are easy. Anyway, I hope you are not offended by that but I would really like to understand some points of your view better.

@ Journey Man: I don't know if your reply is also guided at my post or only to Nils Tentacle. But either way I don't feel as if you have answered my question. It seems to me that your world is very black and white and that there is nothing inbetween. I mean why buy albums you might not like to sell them again if you could directly buy only albums that you like? And when you say that you can sell CDs for the exact same price that you have paid (at least when we are speaking about new CDs) then it seems that you are a way better seller on Ebay than I am. I personally would not pay the same price on ebay for a new CD that I pay on the shop. I mean the CD is used so I won't pay that much. And another thing: If you don't like the tracks you've downloaded and you decide you will not buy the CD then you would very likely sooner or later delete the track.

I don't see the point in threatening people who download to judge what they wanna buy or not buy the same way as professional pirates who download 1000 of songs just for having everything. Can you explain why those to are equal to you? They also don't have the same effects to the industry or the artists themselves so why?

Hehe, sorry!! I don't have a clue...

148 kbs per second (hope that's what you wanna know?)

Great, an old-school mix by Ukiro, I'm downloading it right away. This must be killaaaargh when I see how much records he have. Thanks moni, you're my hero of the day! I guess I will not touch the trachtrance mix because that's not really my style. Maybe I'm missing something but I guess the other mix will be enough for now.

I allready have Anoubis' mixes and like them a lot. I've also searched in older posts for other stuff and found Spindrifts' mix. Somehow the download was so slow I had to abort it. But I'll follow the link, thanks a lot! :-)

I'm not really into downloading but on the other hand I understand when people that are students or live on poor countries can't afford to buy a lot of albums. So I personally think if you at least buy some stuff it's not that bad. And about the CD prices: Well, there are differences. In Switzerland CDs are damn expensive!! When I buy a new CD it's about 30 Fr, sure there are special prices like 19.90 for a new album when it's in the charts and even some well-known psy stuff like Astrix is sometimes reduced to 23.90. But most of the times I have to pay the full price. If I order from psyshop the price for one CD is 17.90... Well, I don't want to complain since we also higher incomes than other countries, but still, people here are not all rich. But that's just a sidenote on the original topic...

I've never heard of that guy and first thought it was a thread about Chris Organic from Organic Records... But I've went to his site and right now I'm listening to the Aya live set and damn it's sounding so sweeeeeeeeet!!! I'm only at the first track but it rocks so much... Thanks for bringing that to me!

Don't have to be by well-known DJs but stuff likes pr0fanes mix would be awesome!! I'm at work and need some new sound...
-
But just because somebody cares about music doesn't mean that he or she makes automatically good music. I mean I care a lot about music but I still would never be able to make a tracks that sounds as good as Hallucinogen. Most artists (at least in the psyscene) make not much money out of their CDs, if they wouldn't care about the music they would have for sure chosen other styles or even a whole other job. If you can't make a living out of the music then maybe you won't just have the time to make high quality tracks, or only very few tracks.

What music are you listening to right now?
Tatsu replied to Sputum Rotgut's topic in General Psytrance
The album Pure Analog by Silicon Sound. -
Yes, I like some hardhouse a lot but I don't have any records. Just some burned mix-cds from local DJs. I'm not into it as much as I'm into psy but it's nice music. Oh and on a side note: Overdose your new sig and avatar rocks!!!

I really hope so, for me this album didn't get the appriciation it would have deserved. It also has interesting basslines in some part of the tracks if ask me, better than the standart full-on bassline. And it has a unique Space Cat feeling for me as his older albums.
-
I'm listening to the mix for the first time and I'm only at thrack 4 but I have to say that so far your mixes are very neat and they sound just great. And another thing: That Antix track rocks!!! So far when I heard the name Antix I thoug no thank you, not for me. But the singers voice in it is just so beautiful I will have to check out some more Antix tracks.
-
I would say (as in the other full-on thread) Mechnical Dream by Space Cat. The melodies have quite a goa feeling for me and in at least two songs are some 303 effects (or something very similar).
-
I'm also downloading this thingy at work, hope it's as nice as I think it is...
-
An album that has not been mentioned (and I guess people call this full-on): Space Cat - Mechanical Dream Best fucking album of 2004 if you ask me. Every track is a piece of art for my ears. I know some people (lemmiwinks for example if I remember right) say that after some time it gets boring and loses its magic but I'm listening to it again now and I still think it's brilliant.

Infected Mushroom single - Streched (19 september)
Tatsu replied to Shpångul's topic in General Psytrance
Maybe they don't WANT to make psy and like their old style? I can't tell of course but I wouldn't be surprised by that. -

I don't think so. I mean they have chanced their style with every album. If they were out of inspiration they would make the same styled tracks again and again (like GMS).
