  1. The CD of the second D-Tec magazine, at the moment the Tikal track is playing and I think it's very nice.
  2. I'm a bit with Journey Man Project here. I mean I've read enough threads here about how bad the music played by the official radio stations and MTV is and how hard it is (well, at least for some people) to find CDs and stuff. Now when they play psy in a radio show by Ministry Of Sounds it's also bad. I mean you can't have the cookie and eat it... I see the problem that maybe like this more stupid people but who are we to say who is stupid and who is not btw?! I mean maybe some old party folks also think ME or YOU are stupid people and should stay âway? Even goa people bitch around about each other so why do some people think we are better than anybody else and only the "right" people should know about our music?
  3. Got a bunch of new CDs from Psyshop: Sensum - Nocturnal Transmission http://www.discogs.com/release/487440 v/A - Love, Sound, Devotion http://www.discogs.com/release/452049 Mad Contrabender - Illegal Hardware http://www.discogs.com/release/505525 Logic Bomb - Unlimited http://www.discogs.com/release/35852 Matenda - Tunnel Vision http://www.discogs.com/release/298320
  4. I really like that remix!! But I guess this is exactly the point with most remixes. I mean the MC Hammer remix is fucking funny, I don't think it wants to be taken serious. Same goes for 1200 Mics remixes I think.
  5. Maybe I've checked the wrong album then because I didn't hear any full-on influences... Maybe the samples were to short, I'll give it another listen in my local psyshop.
  6. The older Rumble Pack tracks (on Soulseeker 1 and 2) are ok, the newer ones are nothing too special. Sadly you are right about this...
  7. Yes, I have the Electric Roundabout album by Human Blue. It's ok but on the edge of beeing too fluffy... Anyway, I will make the following order: Compilation: Love Sound Devotion [spirit Zone 1CD] 16.95 sfr Mad Contrabender: Illegal Hardware [Medium 1CD] 16.95 sfr Sensum: Nocturnal Transmissions [ZMA 1CD] 16.95 sfr Schaedelleuchten: Second album [Generation Sound 1CD] 16.95 sfr Matenda: Tunnel Vision [Flow 1CD] 16.95 sfr Logic Bomb: Unlimited [Tip.World 1CD] 16.95 sfr But if somebody has something else, just tell me!
  8. I also don't know anything else besides Yahel that sounds similar. They have made some new tracks under the name Rumble Pack, maybe you wannte check those out. Silent Sphere - Dance is ok but it sounds more clubby for my taste. The older Silent Sphere tracks on the Midijum compilations Electric and Focus are better. Maybe check out the Dancing Devil album, another Swiss act that makes morning music. They don't sound like Blue Vortex but I like it better than the new Silent Sphere stuff.
  9. Checked some Yotopia tracks and didn't like them much. This is allready too progressive for me. It's a bit hard to explain but a lot of progressive is just too boring for me (no offense please). For example S-Range - 2001, it's melodic but somehow I don't like it. It doesn't hit me and I've tried several times to like this album.
  10. I've found another good album that is a bit similar (at least judging from the samples): Matenda - Tunnel Vision
  11. The Waves Of Sound album by Yahel is a little bit similar. It has some same synths but it is way more melodic. I don't know if you will like it but it's one of my favourite albums and as I've said some Blue Vortex effects remind me of it.
  12. Oh yes, Mad Contrabender is great, I^'ll also order this.
  13. Checked out the samples and I allready love: v/A - Love Sound Devotion Sensum - Nocturnal Transmission Magnetrixx - Wired Heard the E-Ject album at the store and I didn't like it. It's nothing special to me. There are allready several Midijum Records albums I own (Focus, Electric, Passion, Soulseeker 1 & 2). I feel like ordering a bunch of CDs today, maybe some more recommendations? I'll also order the new Schädelleuchten album because I want to support this Swiss act.
  14. Can you recommend me albums by similar artists? I really dig that style at the moment. Somehow progressive but still very melodic. I wonder if there is anything this great available? I allready know S-Range - 2001 but I don't like it at all... Anyway, I'm waiting for your replie!

    Hara gobi !

I like the 303 Gold track on the Ticket To Goa compilation, that's the only one I know. Haven't heard any newer stuff but this track is top notch!
  16. Then check out www.goa.ch when you want to see parties, the password is peace... In which city will you stay?
  17. Got two new CDs from the sales bin in my local psyshop: Mandylion - Toxic http://www.discogs.com/release/363354 v/A Tox Compilation http://www.discogs.com/release/424146
  18. I also like nearly all the artists in the poll but my vote still goes to Hallucinogen.

    Yahel !

Sure it's taste! I also like the first Psysex album a lot, but for me it sounds way different than Yahel's stuff. And I haven't listened to Psycraft for some time, maybe I need to give them another try! Thanks for reminding me...
  20. Hehe, nice story!! That's how we are!! At least the nice ones... Maybe they've allready smoked the other joint and made a new one until you were back?!
  21. Hehe, enough people have been fired lately... ;-) Nah, I just have to work so I can't be online all day. But don't be afraid, I will not leave psynews!! Cool, where did you meet them, at the Trancesilvania Festival?
  22. I voted for Blue Vortex, it has a feeling for me that is a bit similar to Yahel's Waves Of Sound album and I really love that. But I also love Synsun and all the others from the list.
  23. For me it's the opposite: I like their album but the tracks I've heard on compilation weren't for me.
  24. The album is VERY melodic but I think it's ok. I've bought the album because years ago somebody here mentioned that some of the synthlines on it reminds him on the Spiritual Healing track from Muses Rapt and I like this track a lot.
