I totally understand you, I'm exactly the same with music. I can still listen to tracks I liked when I was 12 or 13 and still love them. I don't understand people who change their favourite tracks or even change music styles like underpants and never look back at what they used to love hearing.
-
Yep, for me too! I also think it's bad that he hasn't released a new album since Lone Deranger but I love his old tracks and I would go to see him immediately to enjoy that sound. But once again taste differs...

I got a bunch of new CDs today, some of the aren't even listed in discogs yet. But I don't care to list them, way to complicated... Here we go: v/A - Interphase (Alchemy Records) v/A - Exotica (Mahogany Records) Uni - La Movin' (Throb Records) (was very cheap) v/A - Gran Turismo Kicks 4 (was very cheap) Mystagmus - The Immaculate Perception (Sundance) Mystagmus is awesome, haven't heard of it before but the music is filled with classical elements (at lest the tracks I'^ve heard so far), nice melodies but also some dark elements and effects.

And Vanilla Slice...

I still use reviews to consider if I buy an album or not. The time sof buying stuff just after reading reviews are over though... There are way to much new albums and comps to risk that so if a review sounds interesting, I still listen to some samples from the online shops before I buy something. I don't care that much about the rating of a review but more about the description of the style of the CD that is reviewed (if it's full-on, melodic, progressive...), I also like reviews that describe all of the tracks. I also don't care if the review is from here (ok, I dislike the oh so funny full-on bashing, but that's hardly a surprise I think... ), other sites, magazines or psyreview mailinglist. It's all equal to me.

Thanks for the FAAAAAST info... I have some white lables but I don't care much about them either, even if they are in nice sleeves (with nice pictures I mean). Mainly because if they arent marked I don't know what tracks are on it or on which side is what. But I don't mind buying them when I see an interesting track on it, like on Ebay. Anyway, nice to know that it's not really attractive to go for white lables.

Ì have a questino for the vinyl collectors (I bet Ukiro and/or Basilisk can help me): spoken in general what is worh more: original releasees or promos and white lables? Or maybe there is no general rule and it depends only on the number of printed white labels and original copies? Well, I know it sure depends on that anyway but as I said I'd like to know if there is a general rule besides that. Thanks for all infos!

I don't know but I still prefere him over stuff like The Game and other pop-rap. At least he has skills.
-
Really a tough question, I love both!! When I look at my collection I have a bit more comps than albums, maybe because I don't hesitate to buy a comp when there is one track on it I really love. Even if I'm not interested in the rest of the CD (ok, I'm also doing this with albums). I like both equaly but since I have more comps than albums I vote for compilations.

I didn't even know they have split up. I wonder how this will influence the Misted Muppet music.

I like the Trance Elegant album, it's smooth. But the second Perplex album isn't that good anymore if you ask me.

I'm going to download the mix when I'm back at work (Wednesday). The tracklist looks interesting. -
This is bullshit IMHO. I mean Eminem has way more talent than Skazi from what I can tell. He writes creative lyrics about his own life and his alter-ego instead of remixing well known rock tracks into psy clones.
-
Uh this sucks, but at least I know now with how much time I need to calculate.
-
The only track that comes to my mind is Chi-AD - Liquid Neon Sky. I'm not sure but I think it starts around 140 BPM and goes up to 143 or something. A track that starts slow and has a very fast part is Jörg On Mushroom - The Messenger, at the end it gets pretty wild, but I can't name you the exact BPM. And maybe also Shpongle - Around The World In A Tea Daze gets fast at one part.

It's still not working right, at least I can't connect from my home PC. Damit, how much time do they need to fix it?
-
Then I'm sorry for you. Here the pills are still mostly MDMA, there are even some very strong ones around from time to time (there is eve & rave who tests them so that's why I can tell that there is still mostly good stuff around). Now back to the original question: No drug highs: Beeing in love and getting the love back from the person. Best feeling ever!!! Music: Very powerfull and can make me happy and full of energy. But it's damn addicting... Sex of course is also good. Drug highs: MDMA: still one of my favourite drugs, especially when combined with music and/or my girlfriend. Coke: well, not as impressive as MDMA but it has that special something that makes you come back for more (unfortunately...), but the comedown is fucking ugly. Psychedelics (shrooms and LSD): Hard to explain, it is completely different thatn MDMA or coke. It's mind expanding and more challenging to my mind than other drugs

I was hoping for a new IM & Yahel track but instead I have to read abou the old Electro Panic track... The track is not that bad, I was expecting more from this collaboration (yes, I like IM and Yahel...) but it's ok if you ask me.

What music are you listening to right now?
Tatsu replied to Sputum Rotgut's topic in General Psytrance
I'm listening to the Clubber Vol. 1 CD from BNE. The first (unmixed) CD from the compilation. I really like it! -
I guess nobody here can explain to you why you dislike this gerne. I mean it's a question of taste. I like a lot of Rock stuff, from old Deep Purple, Uriah Heap to new stuff like some Linking Park tracks. Maybe you will find some stuff you like if you look around some more or if you try old stuff and not MTV rock. But maybe you never will like it. I mean I think I'm open minded to all music but there are still some genres I don't like and that I can't imagine to ever like. So what, as long as there is enought other good music for me why bother about it?
-
I've added a bunch of vinyls and also some new CDs, check it out!
-
I also got the Evolve magazin and its demo CD together with my CDs. Forgot to list that...
-
I advise you to better get used to the Skazi and full-on jokes that are told here all the time. I prefere to ignore them... Anyway, where do you exactly come from?
-
Then you get about 5000 items I gues.... Anyway, I don't care to spend that much time with looking for items. Post a link or I won't look at it. I know, I'm a lazy ass!
