  1. is gen6 really in the same style? i saw her djing once and she played more progressive stuff...
  2. d-dave is from battle of the future buddhas (killer full-on sound)-
  3. i think it was on ebay some time ago. it is quite old isn't it? so it will be difficult to find in normal stores. i guess i saw it one time in a second hand shop in my town. if you like i can check it out and buy it for you (it was very cheap).
  4. just a side note: compared to commercial trance or house music the psy scene isn't huge. but it's getting bigger and bigger very fast. two or three years ago when i went to my first party a lot of people didn't know what goa/psy was and now it's quite hip to go to a psy party. there are also much more parties than then and also in bigger clubs in which ar normally commercial parties. as said in other posts because of the drugs and the hippie-like behaviour psy isnt' really interesting for sponsors because psy freaks are not as influencable for commercials like "normal" people so i guess psy will always stay more underground. but who knows...
  5. i felt exatly the same when i took ecstasy for the first time. i never felt so happy and lucky before, i could have started to cry of you without a reason and loved all my friends to death. unfortunately i never experienced something similar withouth drugs. could you please tell me the name of the pleiadians track that brought you to this state? i really love pleiadians too and i wonder which track hit you. my favourite is taygeta by the way...

    best BPM

i dont't have a favourite beat but i like old-school sets which are getting faster and faster. there are some great tracks over 150 bmps like gnotr - atomic armadillo. if you slow them down too much they lose their magic a little.
  7. the tracks is called "kicking up some dust rmx" from space tribe and it's on the shapeshifter album from last year.
  8. i would call myself tatsu, yes i know, veeeeeery original... ;-) but i really like dragons and it sound cool. my style of trance would be full-on old school goa style. if i would made albums i would do a serie called the allice in wonderland chronicles and every album would be named after a character of the book/movie. i did this allready as dj mixes, there is an mad hatter mix, a white rabbit mix and so on. unfortunately i'm not really content with the mixes so i have to record everything new. and the covers are old school like fractals with pictures from the disney cartoon.
  9. cool, a new reviewer for the site! :-) i hope you will stay with psy for a long time and you'll never stop enjoying it. i like this site a lot and the more people start to do reviews again the better it gets. a lot of the cds i own i just got because i've read the reviews here. cool, i also like gaming and i used to have a small site on geocities where i'd put my game-reviews. funny stuff!
  10. i like the reviews you post, you should immediately ask for a passwort and login so you can start to post in the revies section (if you haven't allready)! if you want to check out some newer stuff i advise you to get astrix: eye to eye, spacetribe: Heartbeat and the unusual suspects compilation. all albums are from this year. the unusual suspects is full of tracks from simon posfort from hallucinogen, especially the younger brother tracks are great. the other two albums are melodic but also full on. the space tribe one is a bit more psychedelic but on the astrix album there is a remix from the infected track wider, a very good remix...
  11. albums: hallucinogen in dub 1200 mics: 1200 mics alien project: aztechno dream astrix: eye to eye space tribe: heartbeat fractal glider: parasite yahel: private collection space cat: power up comps: unusual suspects 6 stringadelica electric retrodelic vibes full on 6 and yes: all originals!! :-)
  12. try all the tracks from the hallucinogen in dub album. this is the most beatifull piece of ambient i've ever heard. then comes the first shpongle album (are you shpongled?) and the track arround the world in a tea daze from shpongle. also try asura.
  13. they could at least tell us some news or tracks that ar on it... *waiting*
  14. i have psychadelic visions 3 - the best of koyote (double cd), is that the one you mean? i have to listen to it again to say if i like it or not. if not i will trade it with you or sell it. make me an offer... :-)
  15. there was a lot of good stuff this year for me: albums: hallucinogen in dub, 1200 mics, alien project, psydrop, astrix, space tribe, astral projection, yahel comps: unusual suspects, electric, retrodelic vibes eps: space tribe: acid test, chi-ad: liquid neon sky labels: in general i'm getting more amazed with twisted and tip world and i allready knew and love hommega and phonokol
  16. i'm not quite sure what to do. the options are staying at home in front of the tv and take it easy or go to a psyparty with ELEMENT, JOHANN BLEY, GEN 6, SILENT SPHERE and some swiss DJs and take some e and maybe also shrooms. i think i will decide on monday what to do because the day before yesterday and also tomorrow i will go to partys and take some pills so maybe i will be too wasted to go out again. we will see... hei daniel, the house of your sister sounds great, i bet you will have a great time!!
  17. V/A - Electric A Concept In Trance Artist: Various Title: Electric A Concept In Trance Label: Medium Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Silent Sphere : Electric 02. DJ Examino And Setherian : Philosofiction 03. Sesto Sento : Sentomental 04. Atomic Pulse : Vision Quest 05. Herbal Essence : Waterkant 06. Silent Sphere : Confuse 07. Symphonix : Druids 08. D-Vei : Nation Review: To be honest I just bought this album because there are two Silent Sphere tracks on it. Silent Sphere is a Swiss psy project I've seen live several times and I like very much. But now I have to say I like the CD very much. The first track is one of my favourite, it's in the typical Silent Sphere style with hard beat and nice melody, definitely a highlight on the comp. The second track by DJ Examino & Setherian is too progressive for me, that doesn't mean it's bad but I don't dig music that is too progressive. Sesto Sento's Sentomental starts also progressive but then evolves into a more melodic track, very nice! Atomic Pulse delivers another track in his well-known fashion, if you like his other stuff you will also like this one. Then comes track number 5, another one of my favourites. It starts progressive then comes a guitar melody that reminds me a little bit of Celtic Cross style. Then my very favourite track comes: Confuse from Silent Sphere. It is melodica again with samples of gregorian monk chants, this sounds awesome! The last two tracks are a little slower but not quite ambient. They are slightly melodic and also nice. After all I can say that there are three extraordinary tracks on this compilation (both Silent Sphere and the Herbal Essence one) and the rest is also ok. I hope you give it a try!
  18. write a e-mail to children to receive a login. go to the start-page of this site to get the link to his mail.
  19. I like this album quite a lot. It's of course in the typical Alien Project style but for me this is ok. I mean I wasn't expecting anything else... ;-) Anyway, all the tracks are nice but my absolute favourite is Skunk, the samples are very funny and the melody drives me crazy because it's so strong and pushing. I'd love to hear this track at a party... Another good one is DJ Where Are You? It's a little slower than the rest. Well, nothing much more to say, if you like full on-style give it a try.
  20. This is one of my favourite albums of the year. Even if some people have a problem with thet drug theme, who cares, its only music in the end... Anyway, the songs are a little GMS like but for me they sound a more melodic (haven't heard the newest GMS album, maybe it's also more melodic than the older stuff?) and that's very important for me. But it's not only melodic but also full-on and most important very psychedelic. I also like the samples, even if they are psy clichés... My favourite tracks are Ecstasy and Magic Mushrooms.

    Xerox - Frequency Drive

To be honest I'm a little disappointed with this album, maybe because his first two were so brilliant. The first track (Science Is God RMX) is by far the best track on the whole album. The others are somehow to "common", I can't exactly describe it but it sounds like a lot of israeli-clubby-house influenced tracks that are on the market right now. Nothing special Xerox-like in it. As said above, maybe I expected too much because of the two albums or because of Xeorx' DJ sets but I think he could have done much better. Anyway, maybe it takes another couples of listenins until I can get into it but right now I don't like this album too much.
  22. yes i do, some days ago i sent a review of the medium compilation "electric" to children, hope it will be posted soon! :-)

    cd cases

i allready tried them but they only have cases in which you can insert the whole cds (means cd the cds in the plastic cases around them), in the case from twisted you could insert cd and boklet withouth the case. it's not that heavy this way...
  24. i guess a lot of you people have seen the cd cases on the twisted website. they look like metal suitcases and you can insert 200 cds and bookles. unfortunately they are out of stock. does anyone of you know some similar cases to transport cds in, maybe also from psylabels? any help would be appriciated... :-)
  25. unusual suspects electric (review coming soon...) there are three very great tracks on electric, don't miss them!
