i like the idea of lsd and lsd remix in the same mix very much. i was also planning to do an old-school mix with the both songs before i saw this... funny!
-
i'm really looking forward to this comp: new zorba track, yippie!!!!! and a new simon posford track even when it is with gms. why not give it a chance before bitching?
-
there are so many good songs, i just love old school!! ok, here some favourites: green nuns of the revolution: atomic armadillo hallucinogen: horrorgram, lsd, solstice, shakey shaker... chakra & edi mis: brain in the box man with no name: floor-essence pleyadians: taygeta avi algranati & bansi: inner reflexion
-
yeah, i forgott jiggle of the sphinx, that would be great too. and a new normal hallucinogen album would even be better for sure!
-
i got the hallucinogen in dub album yesterday. i haven't had the time to listen to all the tracks, only to lsd and the beginning of mi-loony-um and they sounded beautifull. unfortunately the tracks on the album are not my favourite hallucinogen tracks. if there every will be a second hallucinogen in dub album, which tracks would you like to see on it? my choice would be: shakey shaker shamanix horrorgram and as bonus: younger brother - the finger

i like the dreamcreation comp a lot and advice you to give it a try. other old school stuff is goa 96 suntrance, distance to goa 4 and an new comp with old school stuff on it called retrodelic vibes.

my favourite track at the moment is astrix - wider remix. got the album yesterday and it rocks!!

very strance, nearly all people want more reviews but nobody wants to write them anymore... with this attitude they site won't get better either!
-
i think also it is a little useless to post albums that aren't reviewed. but i think it is still better than have all those crappy, useless posts in the reviews section. please people, write more reviews!!

V/A - Suntrance Artist: Various Title: Suntrance Label: Passion Music Date: 1996 Track listing: 01. Doof : Youth Of The Galaxy 02. Green Nuns Of The Revolution : Atomic Armadillo 03. Slinky Wizard : Supernatural 04. Hallucinogen : LSD (LS Doof Rmx) 05. Castle Trancelot : China Zones 06. Salamander : Tempest (Moonweed Mix) 07. Witchcraft : Magic Frequencies 08. Arcana : Orion 09. Yum Yum : 3 Minute Warning (Pobs Siesmix) 10. Technossomy : Rejuvenation 11. U4EA : Sonar Eclipse Review: I've got this compilation from my local second hand shop and it's full of pure old-school madness. It starts with the original version of Youth Of The Galaxy from Doof. It's typical Doof style with lots of melodies, if you like the Turn On album you will also like this track. Next track is Atomic Armadillo, also released on the GNOTR album. To be honest I have this album and I don't really like it that much, I've listened to it only a couple of times but when I heard this track again i really liked its style. It's full of wicked 303-action and very pumping. I guess i will soon give the GNOTR album another try! The Slinky Wizard track that commes next is the weakest one on the whole album. It's not really bad but somehow it's doesn't album comes, the LSD-Remix from Doof. It starts really Doof-like and first it doesn't sound like LSD at all. But then the Hallucinogen parts kick in and you immediately hear the LSD in it. Very great remix, much better than the new mixes on the LSD vinyl released this year. The fifth track from Castle Trancelott is nothing too special. It starts a little boring but after the first minutes a nice melody kicks in and it gets a little better. Tempest from Salamander gets better again. A nice and fast track with lots of layers and melodies, not very wicket but nice! Track number seven is also ok with a good melody. Then comes Orion from Arcana, another highlight of the comp. It has a fast melody that changes a lot in the track and also some 303 sounds added, surely a killer!! The ninth track is also a killer!! It starts very simple and boring but then more and more layers and melodies are added and a very kicking sample comes. Also one of my favourite tracks here! Track number 10 is a littler slower than the others (but still not ambient at all!), it has a screaming melody and it's quite nice. The last track fom U4EA is nothing special, it's soft and not bad but also not outstanding or very touchy for me. Finally this album is really worth it's money, no ugly tracks and the tracks number 3,8 and 9 are absolute killers. Don't miss it when you love old-school and can get your hands on it!

even if they sound the same like on another world (i haven't heard the samples) at least they don't do the o so trendy full on that is made by a lot of artists these days but still deliver nice melodies. no offense ment to full-on, i also like this style very much but at the moment i'm really in need for some good melodic trance.
-
i thought it is unreleased?! on which album is it, i really want to buy it...
-
damn, i wanted to come to but i don't have the money to pay for the flight.. :-( but i really hope you'll all have a good time. do some dancing for me too!! ;-)
-
maybe post a tracklist? thanks... :-)
-
mine is definitely melodic trance, you know old-school stuff, israely stuff and the likes. i also like some of the new full-on stuff. but a mixture between new and old full-on/melodic stuff would be my favourite party music...
-
hey, i like the 1200 mics cover too. it's very colourfull and quite trippy i think. even if it's really not that artistic...
-
maybe try green nuns of the revolution, they have also some amazing tracks...
