i have only one vinyl that is a little more special than the ordinary releases. it's a white label 12" vinyl from blue room reocrds with the juno reactor tracks samurai and razorback on it. but i don't know if this is really rare or anything.

after a long time of non-partying i will finally go to a psy party again. its only a small indoor one but i'm looking forward to it anway. local djs are playing but also one female dj from sweden called gen.6. does anyone know what style she spins? i've heard that she's playing only very hard minimal and progressive, is it true? thanks for your info!!

of course you have to give your opinion on a forum, as you said that's what it all is about here. i just wonder what kind of "debate" you expect when all you are saying is minimal is not evolution and people who don't see that are dump. do you think people will change their taste just because you tell them to?

i'm with you somehow jsb, i don't like that minimal stuff either. but i think it is a problem with my ears (or maybe my brain..?!) cause all that minimal stuff sounds the same if i listen to it at a party more than half an hour. but why think and bitch about the stuff you don't like when there is so much stuff to enjoy?? in the last few months there where a lot of albums coming out that are great. as you said unusual suspects. but also fractal glider: parasite, mystery of the 13 crystall skulls, assassinations, oforia: let it beat is also nice, fire has some nice tracks. and psycraft: gravitech is an absolut killer (but a little older...). why not focus on the good things instead of spreading bad vibes? as i said i don't understand the beauty of minmal but some people seem to enjoy it, so i'm happy for them.

i like all old-school style covers with lots of colors of typical goa graphics like mandalas, indian good, mushrooms and that stuff. like twisted, let's turn on. and classical mushroom is also great.

at the beginning it sounds a little like union jack, the only group released at platipus i know... but i like it a lot, hope promoetheus will release more stuff like this!!
