  1. i don't know but it's quite hard to tell if someones sarcastic or not if i don't know him.
  2. Taikakimi: this is far the cheapeast, most stupid excuse to downlad mp3s instead of buying albums i've ever heard. i would be ashamed to look in the mirror if i were you!
  3. yep, you're right. it's available at the twisted online shop, they received my order some seconds ago..... :-)
  4. i watched matrix again and i recognised a lot of samples, but i couldn't figure out to which track they belonged. could you please list me all tracks with matrix samples? thank you!

  7. juno reactor: pistolero is great! i'm not a real dj but i know one who always starts with this track and it really starts peopel going. he plays melodic/israeli trance in his sets by the way.

  9. you mean unusual suspects?! aaaaaaah, what have i done to deserve this...
  10. i also use www.cede.ch or some foreign online shops. some stuff, mostly spiritzone and goahead comps, is available in city disc for a normal price. but the goa shop in bern wants sfr. 35.- for a normal cd!

    WOW!!

is this the karhan movie you're talking about?
  12. i'm with you jsb, i'm bored to hell when they play minimal for hours and hours (no offense to anyone, it's a matter of taste). the thing with make your own music is a good idea. but why not make your own parties? here sometimes there are parties only with old sounds. they write on the flyer "dj xy only plays his old records" or "only records played 95-98". i've never been to one but it must be great. maybe you could call back the old spirit and inspire new people to follow the old ways. sure it may get bored if you have to hear the old songs over and over again but i you don't do partys like this every weekend it will still be attractive i think. most of the old songs i know only from my records and not from real parties and played on a big system.
  13. they have a section with goa vinyls but i have only see one single record from flying rhino. the rest is normal trance. but the cd selection contains maybe about 15 albums. from new stuff like alien project to old stuff from pof label. i hope a lot of people will sell their cds there soon... :-) they have also all other genres on vinyl and cd and all stuff very cheap because its second hand.
  14. im from bern. the shop i talk about is called oldies shop quite near the main station. hehe, greetings to basel! :-)
  15. i have two today: OTG: Psychological FX Nomad: Critial Level
  16. i'm so happy at the moment. i went to my local second hand shop vor vinyls and tapes and noticed that they now also have psytrance cds. at the moment they have about 10 albums and also very old stuff like a double album by pof and some artists i never heard of. anyway, i got reborn compilation for a third of the normal price and i'm sooooo happy!! do you have a second hand shop too where you can buy cds?
  17. i've thought a lot about that boy/girl thing in music and i don't really have a answer. even if i am a girl myself. i'm really fanatic for goa and music in general, i even have turntabels and stuff, but only for fun. not because i wanna mix at parties. but i've noticed that a lot of my female friends are not in the music in the same way that i am. i don't mean less stronger, but just in a different way. most of my female friends love goa, go the parties, have fun, dance, enjoy the atmosphere and the people. but they feel the music somehow different, like more with the heart and just enjoying the power and engergy. while guys doing the same it's more a head thing. that does not mean they don't enjoy themselves or anything, but if they like a track they want to know who made it, when it came out and so on. i wont generalise this, but with my friends it goes like this. maybe because of this there are less girls djing, because they concentrate on the music itself and not on the technical site. i mean not only with psytrance are very few djanes. also with house, trance, garage whatever you take. as said before, i may be wrong, its just what i noticed with my friend so don't get mad if you don't like my explanation. i myself am the first exeption to it....
  18. i don't give much about the ratings anyway, i'm more interrested what people say about the albums in general. track descriptions, what kind of sound it is and so on.
  19. i think also it's a good idea. if there are good reviews maybe more people will buy the compilation.
  20. i know a lot about music too (not only goa). stuff like tracknames when i hear a song and lyrics from non psy songs. but it has something, a lot of my friends only listen and dance to stuff which have been played in the radio for 20 times. but don't aks me why...
  21. off topic allready has enough post!! oh, and i forgott to mention shamen: boss drum utah saints: utah saints
