    V/A - Assassi-Nations

This is one (it not the) best compilation of this year so far! I like all tracks, they are dancefloorkillers, stomping, full on but also with melodies.... my favourites are Alien Project: Midnight Sun Remix and Zorba feat. Chicago: The Rush. Especially the rush is my track of the year!! So a beautifull melodie but also very pushing!! Wonder if that song can be beat......
  2. try www.recordstore.co.uk i've bought mine there some weeks ago.
  3. no, tom jaimz, its not the usual israeli stuff at least not the one i know. and i really adore israeli trance... yahel who played after xerox/mascalin was doing the israeli/hommega kind of stuff which sounded more familiar but quit different.
  4. thanks for your help with the trax! think i will buy your album then when its out here... i've allready got israliens 3 and a lot of other hommega compilations and albums. but i nearly didn't recognaise any tracks. it sounded soooo different!! but really great!! yahel's tracks are more easy to identfy on his set. nearly knew anything, besides the unreleased ones of course...
  5. *LOL* exactyl!!!!! sometimes i even wonder if people think i have a mental illnes or taken too much drugs to dance like that. but i always see others like me so no worry... ;-)
  6. hehe, it isn't actually a strategy to dance like this to be honest. it more overcomes me you know and i can't stop! :-))))
  7. my dance strategy depends on the music but normaly im jumping or stumping around and move my hands and arms in a trancey or technoish way. can't exatly describe it but i think it looks quit silly sometimes but it's fun. dance like nobody's watching you know.... *g*
  8. maybe my legs didn't feel quite as bad as yours but when i had to walk to the station about 20 minutes they nearly fell off... ;-) hehe, but it was quite funny anyway. too bad the last dj was my favourite, yahel, and at the and i was too destroyed to dance for the last tracks. and yes, it was a indoor party and was quite crowded.
  9. i'm dying to get my hands on the new yahel album. i saw him dj-ing that sathurday and think he played some new tracks that i liked a lot.
  10. i was on a psyparty that sathurday and i have to admit that it was the best party i've ever been to. i danced from 10 in the evening to 6 in the morning non-stop (think how my legs felt after...)!!! first there was a local dj and then a local live act from switzerland, quite good stuff. then xerox and mascalin where dj-ing, and that really drove me crazy!! i don't know if they did it ping-pong-wise or if one of them did a set and then the other (thay mixed about 2 hours) the first tracks (maybe 5 or 6, i don't know) where progressive goa, which means i was quite bored and disappointed (don't be offended, it's just a music style i can't relate to). then came another track also started progressive, but after some time it get very full on (or whatever you call this) and so where all the following tracks. i can't exactly describe it but the crowd got mad with it and me too! sometimes it was a guitarriff it was besides the progressive beat, a melodie but all very full on with lots of noise and stuff. haven't heard something like that... can anybody tell me who has seen xerox/mascalin dj-ing how you call this style and what artists make this music? i don't know if i could stand it to listen to this music at home but i wonder what this is anyway.
  11. i listendet to the sample at psyshop too and quite like it. but i'm quite disappointed by the infected remix. anyone knows when the oforia album comes out?
  12. definitely hommega, bne, phonokol and transient.
  13. i've used my creditcard on saikosounds, psyshop and chaos unlimited. they are all good don't fool around with it.
  14. i've ordered yesterday: ufs 1 & 2 (v/a) assasi:nations Spacetribe: Spaceshifter asia 2001: amazon i will also buy the new asia 2001 album and the new twisted compilation.
  15. i have it with death posture in this topic. if people like it then they should have it but i don't believe in anything religious. and as much as i know i don't have any jewish roots btw.
  16. Really a good EP, at least the song timebandig is very great. I like be building of it with a very beautifull melody at the end but with still somehow a little minimalistic feel to it. The other track is a bit too minimalistic for me but its not that bad either.

    V/A - Pure MDMA 1

V/A - Pure MDMA 1 Artist: Various Title: Pure MDMA 1 Label: MDMA Date: 1999 Track listing: 01. 08'00" Front Line Assembly : Evil Playground (Tim Schuldt Rmx) 02. 07'49" SUN Project : 380 Volt 03. 09'16" Solaris : Out There 04. 07'53" Talamasca : Alien Tribe 05. 08'50" Dodgy Connection : Off Limits 06. 07'20" Lunar Asylum : Vanishing Point 07. 08'10" Electric Sun : Electric Sunrise 08. 08'58" Power Source : Skywalker Review: A great compilation with stomping full on tracks. Every song would work great at parties to make me going crazy... But my favourites are: 380 Volt by S.U.N. Project, it has a great guitar riff in it and is very powerfull and kicking; Alien Tribe by Talamasca with a great voice sample ("just a minute ladies and gentlemen, i think something is happening") when the second part of the track with the drums starts; Electric Sunrise by Electric S.U.N with a very nice melody at the beginning. And finally the best track: Sky Walker by Power Source. Very pushing with two nice melodies and background noises. especially the second melodie blows me away. The song is not as hard as the remix by Psysex but it's still great.
  18. i'm looking for a track with a sample from the movie the cube. i can't remember all the samples used in the track but one that i heard for sure was "a-a-astronomical" for several times. said by the mentally ill guy who could combine all the numbers so fast. the song was very soft psytrance, maybe even ambient. thanks!

    V/A - Full On 5

This is the only Full On sampler I own at the moment (but I've ordered the other ones) so I can't tell if its better or worse than the others. But I have to say that I love this compilation a lot. I'm a general fan of israeli trance and the Hommega label so maybe I'm not very objective but so what.... My favourite tracks are End of the World by Sandman (really a killer melody i think), Red Filter by Infected Mushroom and Goaway 2000 by Power Source. If you like Israeli (melodic) trance then you are right with this compilation then you are right here, if not then better listen before you buy.
  20. good question, but what about tapes or mds from other groups (live or just mixtapes?)?
  21. i have allready ordered the bmp counter now. hope it helps me. i seem to have a big problem with hearing which of the both songs is fast and which slower. maybe its because i didn't invest too much time so far.... i think after using the counter for some time my ears will get used to hear it and i will not have to use to counter forever. at the moment i'm not playning to play at parties anyway, i just want to mix some tapes and havin fun with the music. thanks again for your help!
  22. woow, thanks for that bunch of information. you really helped me a lot! think i will go for the bpm counter from redsound because i allready own an mixer. so i will save a lot of money and can buy my cdj's sooner. hehe!
  23. i want to buy a new mixer to connect my 2 discotec turntabels. later i will also buy some cds 100 by pioneer. which mixer would you recommend? i shouldn't be too expensive and the most important part is that it has two included bmp counters (one for each turntable). thanks
