  1. Just completed another deal with Pedro and all I can say is that I have to praise him again! The CDs arrived fast and perfectly packed and looking brand new, like they came fresh from a shop. Communication was also a pleasure with him, trading with Pedro is just perfect.
  2. After checking my bankaccount I have to say I'm completely broke. Means I will have to sell some stuff to get cash. I've found some rather rare CDs I have to part with: Planet Ben - Trippy Future Garden (Polytox Records) http://www.discogs.com/release/69994 The CD is used but both the CD and the cover look like new. v/A - Nataraja 3 (POF Records) 2 x CD http://www.discogs.com/release/78723 The CD case looks used and old but the CDs and also the booklet look still good. v/A - Psychedelic Beer (High Society) http://www.discogs.com/release/108728 CD case also looks used but CD and booklet are in very good condition. Battle Of The Future Buddhas - Twin Sharkfins (Boom Records) http://www.discogs.com/release/90941 Same as above, CD case looks used but CD and booklet are in excellent condition. Prana - Geomantik (Matsuri) http://www.discogs.com/release/84218 Two little scratches on the CD but it plays without a problem on all the CD players I own. Please PM or mail (dj_tatsu(at)hotmail.com) if you are interested, I will consider the highest offer obviously. And please don't offer me trades, I really just need the money and it's hard enough to part with some stuff of my collection, I don't want to know what goodies I've missed because I missed a trade.
  3. Got two new CDs from a trade with Pedro P: Various - Evolution Of Expanded Consciousness http://www.discogs.com/release/698548 Human Blue - misStArRyAs Xperience http://www.discogs.com/release/793893
  4. Got another one of those nice price CDs: Perplex - Circles Of Life http://www.discogs.com/release/232731
  5. +1 I like the album the longer the better!
  6. Brain Damage - No Gravity from the Ayahuasca Experience compilation. Too bad I didn't know this comp when the voting for the best of 2006 stuff took place. This would have been my nomination for the first place. I just love this album. All (and I really mean all) the tracks are awesome, not something you get a lot these days with comps.
  7. From what I've heard I can say the following: I really like the first CD, it's melodic full-on with a very trancey feeling to it. I like it a lot and the tracks are (imho of course) way better than for example the Made In Trance album and the Mindcontroller compilations. I'm not yet too impressed by the second disc, the track with Space Cat is awesome, the rest is just so-so. I haven't heard the full release so my opinion might change but so far I'm pretty convinced I will buy this release since I really like the tracks on the first CD.
  8. Yes, the GNOTR gig at the Twisted party last October was just AWESOME!!! Best set of the party imho.
  9. Same here, Eurotrancer of Psynews: unite!!!!!!! :clapping:
  10. I've danced to breaky full-on (I guess Sesto Sento - People and Time Lock - Inner Bright does count as breaky full-on?) and yes, I've been in trance while doing it. So what?
  11. Got three new discs: v/A - A Taste Of Dragonfly 2 http://www.discogs.com/release/121839 v/A - Traners Guide To Galaxy (got this double CD for only 2.50?! new cds are around 30...) http://www.discogs.com/release/453928 missBeaviour - You Name It DJ Promo mix, not on discogs.
  12. Since we're talking about missed chances: I had v/A - Nataraja 2 (http://www.discogs.com/release/603990) from POF Records in my hand and didn't buy it.
  13. Bassline Baby - Hymn Of A Lifetime My favourite ambient song ever, oh those beautifull melodies...
  14. I feel like buying some more minimal and electro vinyls with my next salary.
  15. I agree with that. Sure both are important but it's not that much of a surprise that most people tend to focus more on one specific element. I do notice and value a good bassline but what really moves me is a nice melody line. Also with other styles than psy for that matter.
  16. I'm listening to it right now and I have to say it is really beautiful so far. I'm only at the second track but I'm allready wondering why I didn't like it when I had it first. It sounded like some random noises to me from what I remember...
  17. Went to the used disc shop and found three goodies: Haltya - Forest Flavour http://www.discogs.com/release/6773 Check out the awesome cover: v/A - Israel's Psychedelic Trance 1 http://www.discogs.com/release/80002 Ott - Blumenkraft http://www.discogs.com/release/145116 I used to have Ott - Blumenkraft but it didn't really touch me so I've traded it. I'm more into chill-out and especially dub so I will give it another try. If I still don't like it I can always trade it in or give it to a friend.
  18. Got the first of my nice price CDs (wonder if the rest are also still available): v/A - Psychoaneasis http://www.discogs.com/release/231815
  19. Somewhat understandable: just because the majority says something doesn't mean it's automaticaly true. But still: some of the members that caused the most cries from the community are also the members that want to come back at any case (with new accounts or whatever, even when they are constantly claiming how bad this site is) which means that they must (imho of course) get some kind of kick of being the sacrifice for the others. Maybe it's the need of attention that drives them or their boring live, I don't know.
  20. Oh, just noticed that you can only enter 10 songs. Not that funny then, I thought you could add like a a threehour set of tracks... So I'm not that sad about not being able to participate.

    Demo's

This could indeed be awesome! I don't know how it is with electronic music but with rock and pop bands the demos they produce to send to the labels to see if they sign them sound (sometimes) way different than the final release. I have this double Marillion CD that containts the original release of the Misplaced Childhood album and a second disc with the demo versions of all the songs plus some songs that didn't make it on the album. This is my favourite pop album and I also love the demo songs. I wonder how a similar thing from a goa producer would sound. Maybe not really different so it would be mainly the unreleased songs that would make the thing interesting... Synsun offered their unreleased first albums as free download on their site and that stuff was also very nice. On the other hand I have this old SFX vinyl from 1991 that sounds more like trance than goa and to be honest I'm far from impressed by the two tracks on it. So Maybe old or unreleased stuff does not have to be nice.
