Of course you don't have too! It's still fun sober but it is for sure different. Besides that I only go to a few psy-parties a year so I'm most likely to take some MDMA or something else in that league (LSD most likely). Since she will not be able to not take something when I'm on it she will only attend a party when she's ready to use something too. IMHO still better than joinin me, planing to take nothing and ending up taking too much drugs buy maybe also a future task to learn for her.

My ex is a bit of a rocker but she was easy to convince to like goa. She's more into the melodic stuff (full-on, melodic prog, old-school goa) and especially chill-out. She's not that fond of going to parties since she doesn't want to take too much drugs but we had some very special moments at some trance raves and goa parties. I still tell her about some special releases I just bought, give her lums to listen to and we also go out sometimes. But it's very different to how it use to be of course...

I had to check my wantlist to find out which albums I'd like to have the most and here we are: v/A - Boys In The Void v/A - Retrodelica 2 - Back From The Future v/A - White Rhino v/A - Black Rhino v/A - The Wizardy Of Oz From what I know those comps are not as rare as the Dimension 4 or the Blue Planet Corporation album. Still those are the releases I would like to get my hands on the most. Haven't heard any samples but judging from reviews and the trackliste the must be totaly my thing.

I haven't heard their latest album but I do like their new stuff (IM The Supervisor). Also been to a live show of IM and enjoyed myself a lot. Classical Mushroom is still my favourite thou.

Same here, I really like their music. The first two albums are great, I'd even go as far to say that I really love the first one.

I only vaguely remember to be honest, there were far worse discussions I had with him, probably per PM though...

For me it's the the melodies all the way! I do notice if a track has an especially nice bassline but what I love about goa/psy (or music in general) are the melody layers. Maybe it's because I come from the trance side of music and what moves me most with trance too are the melodies. I'm a sucker for them!

Just because some people think Hallucinogen as such is overrated doesn't make it (or him to be correct) less of a pioneer imho.

Put my MP3-Player on shuffle in the Cranberries folders so it will be only tunes from my favourite non-psy band for some hours now. Right now Just My Imaginatino is playing.
