I really hated minimal back in the days when it started to come out of the closet (I guess you remember that ) but it really sounded different than the stuff from today. There are some minimalistic tracks that I don't get but there is so much melodic and even psychedelic sounding stuff that it made me feel like a vinyl-virgin again after checking out those tracks. I don't mind slow tracks and as I've said I'll look for your old thread and check out the tracks. Some very nice stuff in here. I'm just getting into that minimal (which is not sounding minimal at all to me but whatever... ) and I have to say I really like the stuff you suggest. Didn't find the Aril Brikha track you wrote about but the Winter EP sounds very beautiful too. This will for sure be included in my next order. Same for the Estroe and the Mad Ghost Inc vinyl. I guess I have to check out your best of 2006 thread too, maybe I'll like some more of your stuff.

Glad you like Benza - Retrofuturism. There's another one that came into my mind: Planum - Elaborate. It's also melodic but a bit more wild with highly psychedelic effects and melodies. Reminds me a tiny little bit on the old IM stuff.

Lish - On The Edge

Lish - Sunday Muse from the Free Fall album. One of the best progressive albums ever imho. Highly psychedelic and a must-listen when I go walking and tripping next time.

Two old hip-hop Cds: Queen Latifah and Jurassic 5. Hope they will be good!

The link was still working yesterday, downloaded the whole album. Just heard the first two or three tracks on my way to work. So far I can say it is really beautifull music, very nice by Lieb to let us have that for free!

The one album that comes to my mind is Benza - Retrofuturism. Melodic but highly psychedelic imho.
