There's one thing I don't really understand. Why can't you be critical, even brutaly honest only when also being an elitist? For me the whole plur thing is not about not being able to hand out or take critics but the way you do it. For example: If you don't like a style, song or artist and tell it, why do you (when I say you I don't mean Basilisk, I'm generally speaking) also have to put down the people who like and buy and set your own taste on a higher or better level? What does it change for you if you do it? To me it seems like some sort of selfdefense, either because some people are unsure about themselfes and need personal taste to feel special or good or because they can't stand if people have another taste. Both is rather sad imho.

Do you remember the old psynews page? There was this text about goa (Anoubis wrote it probably?), we should updated and post this at Wikipedia together with Anoubis' chart from the different styles. Is the text still available in the new psynews page?

Wooohooo, finally a topic about Taika-Kim. In the end it was Gemini who intruduced me to his music (thanks girl! ) since she had some of his tracks on her MP3-Player. After getting a fast internet collection I've downloaded some of the stuff from his homepage and I really love that crazy music! My favourite tracks is Naideni Flowers, very crazy but emotional melody. I wonder what else is to come from his side, everything I've heard so far is totaly awesome!

Yeah, that thought also crossed my mind when I read the list. Same for Talamasca imho.

Just in case you haven't noticed: Goa is just a name for a music style and not a trademark. Where I live all psyparties, no matter if it's full-on, progressive or old-school goa that's get played. And why not, Goa is the root of those styles. If this is your biggest problem in live, you must be quite happy!

Besides popularity being an issue for liking an artist or just a song for some people, in rather underground cultures like ours for example, there are also a lot of people who use popularity to dislike a certain artist, album, label or song. Since it is gone too big or popular I can no longer feel special when likeing it so I can also no longer judge the music from a (more or less) neutral point of view.

Heard the mix several times now and I have to say I absolutely love it! The free tracks on Goe's page are also nice but the livemix is just great! Great to dance to but still with nice melodies and effects. His album is a must-buy now!

Not really. There was a topic in which radi was asking about the meaning of the wink smiley, Cinos and other people started mocking and provoking radi, he freaked out at Cinos, Cinos reported him. I saw the report and closed the topic (late Sathurday night) and told everybody to quit it. Nemo wrote a PM to Cinos to explain why no other action (like a warning for radi) was taken and (according to Nemo, he should tell you about the exact happenings) then Cinos was pushing nemo to warn Radi, they were exchanging PMs. Finally Nemo gave Cinos a warning for lobbying since he admited that he was provoking radi so he could report him for using foul language and get him another warning (radi's warnlevel is also rather high). If you give a warning the warnlevel alters automaticaly so you have to give a ban when entereing the last warning, that's why Cinos was maybe not able to post for a while (I don't know if Nemo just warned by PM or used the warnign procedure). We talked about it in the mod forum to decide how to go on since it's Cinos final warning (ban, how long and so on). We decided to do some sort of a compromise and Nemo wrote Cinos another PM and told him that his warnlevel will set back no 87% (which means also the ban is no longer running) if he promises to ignore radi from now on. Cinos then said he will leave anyway and mad his last topic. Nemo can give you some more details since I only saw the first PM (the one he wrote Cinos about why radi didn't get a warning) and the thread report. But this is the basic story.

Good story, and funny crowd you have! About the rolling joints thing: if you get some practice you will easy be able to do something between the tracks because you mix so fart. Don't worry about that!
