I agree about a lot of mediocre or bad releaseas in any psy genre (full-on, prog, whatever) but I wasn't especially disappointed with something I've bought so far (means I only bought good releases and the rest is out of my mind )

Found this double vinyl in the used records store, looks like new and they would even have a second one if somebody is interested: Ololiugui - Valves http://www.discogs.com/release/134290 I could give it an ear before I bought it and surprisingly (since I didn't like their first album too much) I really dig it.

To me the perfect goa album is Hallucinogen - Twisted. Very boring choice, I know... But besides stating the obvious Cosmosis - Cosmology is also very good. It's been ages since I last heard that one, what a shame!

Last concert I've been to was Skin, former lead singer of Skunk Anansie. The show was awesome, she played her own stuff but also some Skunk Anansie songs. She was jumping around on the stage, interacting with the people in the audience and having a good time in general. We were right in front of the stage and even when there were a lot of people, you had your space to stay. It was incredible to watch the whole show from such a short distance and feeling Skin's energy. Besides that she's a real cutie...

I had the exact same thought...

I listen to a lot of styles and I also visit different parties (if I visit parties, I'm not going out that much anymore), even when my main focus is on electronica and of course especially psy. Diversity is the key for me. And I absolutely don't agree with RTP. I don't really know you so I can't judge if people really only not take you serious because of your musical taste. Either there is other stuff about you you don't want to see or the people you are talking about are rather strange (or a bit of both). Never the less I think it's sad that you port your doubts about yourself on the other psyheads. To me it seems as if this music or scene does not have a good image for your, even when you seem to be part of it. Why might that be? There are people of any kind around, some serious and some losers (to use your words), it's up to your point of view who you notice more.

I also voted 1 - 5 but it used to be a lot more, especially when you also count records. But I'm a bit tense with money so it also depends on what bargains or used stuff I find...
