Don't know the music but the cover is awesome!

I guess this is the reason why the comp sounds rather special to me. Local projects still have the "old" feeling to me, maybe because they have another view on producing than the old folks.

I'll bring you some Swiss chocolate, just tell me if you have a special wish (regular, dark, with nuts and so on...).

Kinda reminds me of the old psy that used to get played when I started to go to parties some years ago. What do you people think about it? I'm sure gonna buy this, it somewhat warms my heart... Does it also give you some kind of old-school feeling or am I the only one with this. I especially like the effects in the tracks.

I'll guess I'm not going there all dressed up (I mean I will wear clothes of course but no fancy dress). Might get a bit strange wearing something like that while being high... And noodles and pints sounds fine, I wonder if I will be able to eat anything on Sathurday....

And sadly also not to the labels. I'm quite sure labels orient themselves on the sales figures and not on votings on internet forums. But let's agree to disagree.

It's up to you if you like Derange, no doubt about it. But some people (I don't know if you belong to them or not since I don't know you that well so please not that that I'm generaly speaking) have the tendency to look down on people because those people like music (like Derango) they can't appreciate themselves. So it's not exactly a surprise if some poeple get not so nice comments back.

Well, there are a lot of people (also here in the forums) that only download the music. So this votings have not that much meaning to me.

Of course, you are right. I do respect those people and I am also very interested in new goa releases myself. But imho it's also necessary that the old people respecnt the young one's even when they have a different taste.

I personally would of course like to see a comeback of the melodic but non-full-on style and maybe the sales are indeed rising. But if it's not about the sale's figures what else would the labels use to judge what to release? They must have at least a bit of business knowledge or else even more labels would go bankrupt. I don't know the actual figures of the record sales since I don't have contacts with labels and stuff so I can only guess. But just because Suntrip was voted best label, doesn't mean they've automatically also sold the most CDs... (sadly)

I guess the sale's figures lead the labels to believe that.

Last live performances I saw were very nice: Sub6 and Cosmic Tone on New Year's. I can't judge how live they actually were but I did like the music they played (Cosmic Tone sounded way more varied than on his CDs...) and I was dancing all the time. I did see some more acts in my early days (five years ago or something) but I can't remember who I really liked. I've also seen Infected Mushroom about two years ago and I did like them a lot. Again, I can't judget how live they were but at least Duvdev was not singing and I do like the I'm The Supervisor album so...

Now I really start drooling!!!! Does he still include Younger Brother tracks in his set? Would be just fucking great to hear a Infernal Machine track btw...

It's fucking awesome!! Especially the LSD track that lasts for ages... But the rest also rocks, hopefully the Hallucinogen gig at the Twisted party will be played in the same quality...

It's even more funny if you compare for example Astral Projection who have to take the piss because they still make the same music (just with a modern touch) with Infected Mushroom who also have to take the piss because they change their style with every album. No matter what you do, there will always be people who bitch, so why care about it?

Will there at least be a local presale? We could still ask some of the London' residence to buy us some tickets if we send them the money.

I voted for uplifting, I like my music melodic so upflifting is the obvious choice. But there is also uplifting goa, psy and progressive so the voting is a bit difficult...

Hooray, so we'll finally meet! Could you tell me what Twisted answers to your mail? I'm a bit worried about the tickets. Best would be if you could order them before, I don't really trust them with holding back the tickets on the door...

Good point Elysium! Besides that, who do we think we are to decide for other people what to hear or not?! I mean we can try to educate them and show them "better" music but in the end it's up to the personal taste if they open up for other stuff than the well-known acts.
