  1. Imho there are still enough parties like that (at least here), with local DJs and not international line ups. Maybe it's a bit more difficult to find them since they are not anounced as big as the huge parties but they are still here.
  2. Moved to music promotion... Gonna download this when I'm at my gf's place, don't have that much darkpsy so I'm rather curious about it.
  3. Off-topic comments deleted. General forum is not a chatroom, thank you.
  4. Sounds very nice, I'll give this a try for sure. I allready own the Ionized album and like it a lot!
  5. The mix looks nice (tracklist I mean), if you can put the whole thing online as one file, I'll sure download it.
  6. I'll for sure check this comp out when I see it in a store. I can't say why Hommega is releasing prog stuff, but Psysex' last albums weren't cheesy full-on so it's not exactly a surprise. I just think it's rather funny that if a label keeps its old style it's just to make money with full-on stuff and if they change style it's also only to make money. So it's wrong anyway, no matter what they do.
  7. I guess allecat is rather new here and has to learn that it's standart at psynews to bitch about certain artists or behaviours. It's not meant as bad as it sounds if you read it here for the first time, even when of course people are serious about disliking certain artists. But putting them down is more for the fun of it (I'm also not that happy about it but since it happens not too much it's ok for me).
  8. Funny thing is that alleycat has to take the piss because, as you say, he does not like the people to critisise stuff without plur meaning and so he tells the people what to say and what not. But on the other some people here have a hardtime themselfes to accept that there are people who actually like (for example) Eskimo without being totaly stupid fuck-ups on drugs so they also tell the people to be and what to think, just in a different way of saying.
  9. I'd also say Planum, the Eleborate album is awesome. Benza - Retrofuturism is also very nice. The new Reefer Decree album has a very nice melodic song on it, Nr. 9 (don't know the name right now) and if you like melodic, more house-like progressive then you have to check out the Flowjob album.
  10. And I've deleted the off-topic threads. Come on people, if you don't care, then don't post. This is not off-topic forum here.
  11. I guess it depends. Negative critics are for sure important for every artist. If he/she only hears how great he/she is, then it's rather difficult to evolve his style or get new ideas. Same for partyorganisers, deco artists and so on. The only thing is that sometimes people just fall for negative critics because it's about putting down an artist they hate and so they say everything is shit, no matter how they would like it if somebody else would do the same. This is something I don't really like and I'm not sure if this is what the threadstarter means.
  12. I would also go wild seeing him: pissing my pants because of laughter and stuff...
  13. Yep, I have it but I'm not able to scan stuff. My scanner is broken... Sorry!
  14. Fabulous album! It's time for some old goodies: Shamen - Boss Drum
  15. Yes, I'm exactly talking about that one. Damn, I vaguely remember that I made (or maybe wanted to make) a quote of your post and marking that track?! But it's realy funny that you still were able to tell what track I meant!
