  1. The E-Mantra track really is great. Too bad the other samples are crappy full-on instead of nice full-on. So sadly I'm not going to buy the comp just for one track.
  2. Ozric Tentacles - Waterfall Cities http://www.discogs.com/release/20576
  3. And when will that be, in 2012?! Maybe that's the reason why the Mayan calendar ends then.
  4. Yes EP, I asked the other mods before I answered to your PM. They did agree to what I've said. I will close the topic because, as nemo said, since it seems to get into a flamewar and nothing more. Sort your stuff out with PMs! But there is one thing I will say: if you trade CDs over this forum and your customers feel treated wrong, it's their good right to post a bad report here! I can't tell who did what during this trade (obviously); I can't tell who is right or not (obviously) but I'm not going to delete a bad report just because the seller is pissed about it.
  5. The problem is that it is sometimes very hard (at least for me) for me to understand what kind of music you exactly want. Your descriptions of the searched tracks mainly are melodic goa trance or emotional goa. There is a lot of melodic goa outhere, but there are still different kinds of melodies so it is, again, taste that decides what you like or not. And when it comes to emotional trakcs, the problem is that feeling a track as outstanding emotional is a very personal thing so if somebody mentions a track that you don't like, it's not because the other person is stupid or he did it to make fun of you but only because he has a different taste. You can't expect people to read your mind. If you can't expect that and then get angry, then it's no wonder people rather not help you. If you wanna get respected, you also need to respect other people, and this is imho not always the case. No, he's not mentioning any names, he just states that MOST people here don't listen to the real true melodic goa trance and don't know about goa. Which is absolutely not true if you see that most people here complaine and whine because the scene is so bad, the music is even worse and that everything was better years ago when there was still true goa around. And besides that, if somebody who is known to have only mp3s or stolen CDs but no original releaes, tells other people who are in this scene for years (as most members are here) and care about their music they don't know shit about goa, then it's no wonder people getting rude.l
  6. Have you ever thought that maybe there is the tiny possibility that it might not only be the people's fault if they are rude to you? Sure, some comments towards you are unfair and not needed but with your attituted you sometimes nearly ask for it. Like with the way you ask for help in this thread for example. I'm sure you can show us several threads with recommendations that don't fit your taste. You know why? You give a rather vague description and then expect the people here to first answer very fast and second to give exactly the tracks you might like. What makes it even more difficult is the fact that you have a very narrowminded taste. I mean it's totally up to you what you like and don't like. If there are only very few artists you like, that's fine. If you only listen to exactly one style of trance, that's also fine (it's fine because it's totaly up to you what you like and what not). But it's taste in the end and we can't read your mind to see what tracks will move you. If you nearly get angry and start whining because people dare to recommend stuff you don't like, then it's not a surprise that in the next thread you make, less people answer or some answers are not that nice. If you ask for help and then talk bad about nearly everythign that gets recommend you encourage the people to look for more. It's not like all users here just wait to reply to your thread. That does not mean that you have to like all the recommendations but maybe you could try to sound less offensive?
  7. Then why don't you just leave this stupid forum and join another one where the people match your taste and intellect?
  8. Ok, then the thread gets moved into the identify forum (lost tracks). The track itself is ok, typical old-school goa with nice melodies. But nothing too outstanding for my taste. Besides that, if you are the only one in this forum who is so in the know about goa trance then why you even care about asking us for recommendations or tracknames, Mr. Goa-trance himself?
  9. I don't get you, do you want us to identify the track because you don't know the trackname or are you just asking about our opinions?
  10. Just ordered one of the Ozric Tentacles albums.
  11. I don't have the possibility of ripping my CDs and sending stuff out. I'm sorry!
  12. I like this CD a lot. It's nice floating, melodic goa trance with mantra singing and similar mystic/hindu samples. Some parts (I'm speaking about the melodies, not the general production quality) sort of remind me on the old hallucinogen tracks, from the feelings the tracks give me. But this might not be the case with all people, so don't expect something like uh it's a second Simon Possfort or anything like that.
  13. Means as soon as I'll received the CD I've ordered I feel the need to order all the other OT CDs to?! Yeah great... Anyway, I absolutely love the covers, makes me wanna buy that stuff on vinyl!
  14. I'm ashamed to say but I've never heard a single track by OT. At least not as far as I know. Thanks to this thread I found out that some of their CDs are available at nice price so I've ordered Waterfall City (because it has the nicest cover ). Hope I'll like it, the samples sounded nice...
  15. Space Buddha - Focus Land another very nice track from Positive Alchemists Vol. 2
  16. Wavelogix - Sonic Mirage from v/A - Positive Alchemists Vol. 2. Great compilation!!
  17. I would nominate the Optokoppler album, great upflifting melodies in it. Gave me goosepumbs even when I just prelistened it at the store. Not talking about what it did at home...
  18. Went shopping and got these goodies: Tri-Force - Entrance To Reality http://www.discogs.com/release/510650 Synsun - Phoenix http://www.discogs.com/release/657939 Optokoppler - Bugfix not on discogs yet, but an amazing album.... v/A - Positive Alchemists Vol. 2 also not on discogs yet but in the same league as the Optokoppler album above
