  1. Yes, the track selection is really nice. Listened to the mix for the first time this morning. The beginning of the Extrawelt track is a bit boring but the rest is very nice. Wouldn't mind if you put some more mixes online!
  2. Fucking great song!!!! I'm listening to another DJ-mix by Arkadius & Lil' Momo, it's named Stampf in den Frühling (stomping into spring). Again some nice full-on.
  3. I guess I catch your drift very-well, it seems to be exactly what I'm talking about. Fortunately the scene is still very hippie like here, at least from what I can tell since I don't visit parties that often anymore. Maybe it's because Switzerland really is a small country compared to Germany and most other countries in Europe. Still we have a lot of parties and new people comming to the scene so it can not only be that. But I guess there is not much we can do about it, besides trying to talk some sense into people, without brainwashing them with our ideals how the scene should be (free acid for everybody!! ).
  4. I agree about that. But I start to believe the longer the more that psytrance people are not as half as open-minded as they are said to be, or used to be... Not so much because of anti-gay comments (because there are not much of them) but because of the rest of the stuff I read here and in other forums: I mean you don't like a certain style of music, bash it like there's no to tomorrow, hippies suck anyway, snob peope suck, well basicly everythign sucks that's different from myself... I know I'm exagerating but I can't help myself. Pleeease forgive me!
  5. I don't know but to attract gay people to the scene you need more than an android (that's what I think this cover wants to show, but I might be wrong) on a CD cover. Just in case you don't know there are allready a lot of psy-prog tracks played at gay parties. Progressive is rather big here and prog-house gets mixed with prog-psy and so on. I sort of agree about that. Anybody remember the thread about Yahel's last cover with a member bashing him as gay and so on, very homophobic imho? Also Nightmare Trancer's comment speaks for itself. Funny thing is that in this society you get flooded by heterosexualtilty and sex in general; not only because most of the people life the hetero lifestyle (which is totaly ok of course) but also because advertisements, magazines and nearly everything else uses it to promote their stuff. And then some people can't take it when somebody is openly gay and acts a as a typical faggot? Oh please...
  6. I'm listening to a DJ-mix called Spassmelodie by Arkadius & Lil' Momo. Nice full-on it is.
  7. I'm listening to FP's DJ-mix, right now I'm at the Ace Ventura track when I'm not mistaking. It's nice so far.
  8. Gonna check it out soon, thanks for the link...
  9. Just downloaded the mix (damn, why did it take so much time?!) together with some other mixes for tomorrows hours at work. Wonder how I'll like it...
  10. Ok, I thought you couldn't really mean that. So no hard feelings of course...
  11. Passenger - In My Head I'm not talking about the psy/goa artist Passenger but about the metal band Passenger (with In Flames vocalist). Fucking brilliant song!
  12. As I've said, it's a matter of taste. I understand that you don't like most of the new music, it's a personal thing after all. But if you mean that you can't get used to it that some people have a different taste than yours and see a soul in some kind of music that you can't see it.... Well, I don't know. Sounds kinda sad to me then.
  13. At least you try it, that's all I ask from people. I just know too much people that only listen to one style without thinking and that's a thing I have a very hard time to accept. But to each his own. Maybe electronica is enough to keep you happy, so enjoy it.
  14. Of course I didn't mean it in that way. I just wanted to say that it wouldn't hurt for some people to check out different styles withtout the attitued "it will suck anyway". But I don't mean anybody in particular, it was more of a general comment.
  15. I also can isely listen to the same tune over and over again, sometimes more than two hours. So don't worry... Never the less I still think it's good to listen to as many styles as possible to keep the diversity.
  16. I doubt the Next Generation review gives any usable input to the artists. Well, unless changing the musical style in general counts...
  17. I do remember, don't worry! I still need to point out from time to time that there are other people besides me who also love old-school goa or other music labeled here as "the right psy" and still also love some of the "wrong psy that brings our scene down". People here are so into makeing categorie here...
  18. Going to download this the next time I'm at my gf's place.
  19. Future Prophecy - Body Shaker http://www.discogs.com/release/648467
  20. To me it seems more like a problem that some people still expect the music to be as it used to be some years ago (I'd love that! but it's not, so...). Sure it's a problem that a lot of people just follow a certain trend and buy everything by Skazi or GMS for example or by a certain label. Never the less there are people who really love that music, I know some old goaheads who adore the Hypersonic album for example. I'm sure most people here label it as crap not worth listening to. So who is right? Nobody of course, it's taste. Get used to it...
  21. Comes es a surprise, he? It's a bit difficult to say in percentages but if you don't count the radio (because I'm forced to listen to it if I wanna listen to music during office hours) it might be something like this: 70% psy/goa/full-on and so on 10% rock/metal/hard rock/punk and everything else with guitar 10% trance and other electronical music (sometimes it's more and I listen to less psy) 1% ambient 9% pop, hip-hop, charts and the rest in general
  22. Maybe the Mystica album might fit you?
  23. And of course v/A - Eternal Trance by Trust In Trance Records.
  24. I would help you but I can't name tracks like that. I'm more into acidic stuff like GNOTR and stuff. Have you tried the Cosmosis - Synergy album? It's brilliant and melodic but I don't know if it delivers the emotions you are after but maybe you still wanna give it a try. Maybe also Passenger - One Man Kind (it's an album, not a track)? Again I don't know if it is what you are after but give it a listen won't hurt.
