Imho the new Yahel album very trance (as in Eurotrance or Clubtrance or whatever you wanna call it) oriented. Not exactly a surprise since he also releases tracks on commercial trance labels. I'm a bit surprised to readr Mirco De Govia's name here, I never heard anybody call his music psy?! It's labeled as trance in general, haven't heard his new tracks so I can't judge but still. I don't see a reason to create yet another genre. If you wanna say that some psy is getting closer to trance, then I guess you are right. But there is also some psy that gets close to progressive house or electro. No need to create more and more subgenres imho. And I totaly agree with Anoebis' last statement! I mean goa and trance from the same years used to be rather close togehter so this "new" trend is somewhat logical.

I've also ordered stuff from goaloge, very good shop. I can highly recommend it.

Have you tried www.recordstore.co.uk? They used to sell psy from English labels but it's been ages since I've last checked them. Maybe give it a try...

Funny you mention this album, I was giving the samples at saikosounds a try and thought it's a must have. Well, I don't mind vocals so...

I'm listening to a superb DJ mix by DJ Muestik, nice melodic trancy psy and full-on. It's called Tranceschnitte.... Need to download it at home immediately and burn it to CD so I don't have to listen to it with the crappy speakers of my PC at work.

Hehe, nice to hear that! Maybe I should make a little sign for my signature "Don't beat me, I'm officially allowed to like full-on". I was allready thinking about opening a double account and hide as progressive and minimal lover... Anyway, I can even come up with an album I can mention here: Psytrain - Next Stop, Planet Earth! The samples I've heard online where somewhat promising so I've ordered the album. It turned out to be very steretoype 08/15 psy with some farts and noises but nothing that touched my heart.

I'm not going to say which of the mentioned albums I enjoy... Or I'll lose my psynews membership.

I'm looking forward to the new Oforia album, should be out soon. Samples on Saikosounds are very nice.

Since Pulse 10 won the fight I'd go for Goa Head 12, it has to be the rarer one...

I don't mind lyrics. There are nice ones and very bad ones, as with nearly everything in music... It's all about personal taste. I agree with The Journeyman Project, I really like Michelle Adams' voice. Fits perfect in the songs I've heard so far.

A nice dj-mix I'm listning over the internet. Very acidic and old-school, great stuff to get me in the mood for football!

It's a CD that was included with the D-Tect magazine, that's why the styles are so mixed.

That's a very nice way of seeing digipacks. Never thought of it that way. I don't know what I prefere to be hones. I like both but jewelcases fit better in my shelves, so I guess I'll vote for them.
