    Let's try again...

    Nystagmus

Here's a pic from the above mentioned Organix site if you're interested...
  6. There is another track like that on their second album (can't remember the name). What about Hallucinogen in Dub or Ott's album? You probably have those already though. Maybe you would like the Ooze album. You can hear samples on the online shops. The label Planet Dog released all kinds of stuff you might like (not all dub, but some of it is). Keep your eye out for tracks by artists like Banco De Gaia (older stuff, and again not all dub, but some tracks are), Children of the Bong, and others.

    Nystagmus

Yep. I've seen him play live a couple of times in Vancouver.
  8. The Great Unknown is very hard to find, allthough I've heard some albums like that can be easy to find in Japan. Dragon Tales was rereleased by Inspyde. Check all the online psy stores for copies.
  9. I'm going to get a copy for sure!!!
  10. "open your mind!" = cheesy cliche... bahhh! Whatever. There are people who will like anything. I guess they are more "open minded" than I am. Guess what... I don't give a fuck. But I tell you what... here's nice compromise we both live with: IN MY OPINION some things shouldn't be done and that's one of them. I'll stand by that. I don't ever want to hear psytrance mixed with rap or any large amount of vocals for that matter. Peace out homes.
  11. It could get worse though. Astral Projection - People Can Fly (Puff Daddy Remix) (Radio Edit) Coming to a top 40 radio station near you... Or (let's hope) not.
  12. I also liked the Saikopod album.
  13. Yes, but is it THAT good? ... No? I didn't think so. Some things shouldn't be done and that's one of them. Just imagine, you order the latest greatest CD from your favorite online shop and throw in the CD player. Track one starts with some dreamy smooth sounds and a heavy voice says "this one goes out to my homies and their bitches.... yeah nigga... in the hood... yeah .... smokin' crack, slappin' bitches, stealin', killin', yeah!.... " all to a nice pounding 4/4 beat... LOL! Not for this homie... no fucking thank you.
  14. I totally agree. Astrix is the owner of that style. No squeaky ear splitting GMS track I have ever heard is anything like Astrix. Infact, I would say that both Astrix and GMS have very distinct sounds. When you hear a track by each, you can be pretty sure who made it. Almost all artists have their own style, some are just more unique than others. Even the massive amount of full-on artists out there each put their own spin on the formula, and some are much better at it than others.
  15. I'm so tired of these downer negative posts. "Why the scene is dying... All new music sucks..." Whatever. Go listen to something else then.
  16. Yeah, check out anything released on Nano records.
  17. @ Mugge Speaking for myself, I may get his because not all of us are lucky enough to live in Japan or Europe or wherever else... By that I mean that we don't get to see known artists play live or go to big festivals. So for us, it would be cool to see some well made footage of a big festival. Hell, it might even inspire some to travel to one. It is, after all, just a DVD. Not that different that a CD no? It doesn't have to be as big (an evil) deal as you make it out to be.

    Unreleased?

He's back, and he's pissed... betta watch out!
  19. That's it. Your're fired.
  20. Now you have the pessimistic point of view... Let me say that production quality has soared (and so has the number of releases). It's like anything, it has caught on, and lots of people are making it now, and many of them aren't putting a lot of thought and/or talent into it, but there is still plenty of cool stuff being released in various styles, so the only real difference is, you have to search a bit!!!

    Ooooooze...

I will check that out. Thanks.

    Ooooooze...

It reminds me of the Orb in some places.
  23. Picked up "Ooze - Where The Fields Never End" a while ago. I remember hearing a bit about it back when it was released, but not a lot. Well anyway, just thought I'd say: what an awesome album! Great smooth chilled groovy dubby stuff. One of my favorite chill-out albums for sure. It's relaxed without being sleepy. Does anyone out there know anything else out there like this? I have Hallucinogen in Dub already. Was thinking of getting Ott's Blumenkraft...
  24. "Neo full-on"... bahhhh... what a joke. To the labels and promoters I say: focus on making/distributing music not creating gay ways to desribe it.
  25. Yes, the samples sound like that: "some good parts...some bad...some new sounds...some old." I was hoping more for an outstanding must have album. Mmmm... maybe I'll get it later... or maybe not.
