Sirius Isness remixing Michael Jackson? Say it ain't so!
-
Enough of that shite, when's Skazi getting his hands on this turd? No, but seriously, it would be fun to have this track stripped and disassembled by an artist like Kindzadza, just for kicks.
-
Goa fans are notoriously fickle. The artists must know their every move is being watched. Any action that disagrees with the view of the fans is going to meet with a certain amount of resistance. You would think that Skazi might cry himself to sleep every night if he read what people wrote about him and actually cared. Instead he's laughing at all the forum clowns while he jetsets across the planet boinking easy women and making lots of bling. It sort of puts things in perspective, really... although I sort of doubt Filteria wears gold chains and sports the Krustofsky hair-do.
-
Fuck, not again. Please, Mr. Filteria, just do your own thing. These full-on guys are so talentless that they really cramp your styles.
-
What music are you listening to right now?

Highko - Satan in Space MOVE OVER SKAZI!!! haha. -
Wut's oll this about then?

I think the Misted Muppet are great, for what it's worth, and their debut album is a fantastic piece of work. It's a whole listening experience start to finish. Excellent work. I don't know why there's all the hatin' Tonight I think I shall play Cat Visions out at my gig...

How many times has this track been remixed? Another off-topic rant: A vocal hook does not necessitate a slew of remixes imho... Ra He'ya and 7th Son and all the rest. One or two is enough. The only way I'll give a nod at a remix to one of these club anthems is if they strip the vocals out and work with the music itself... but is there anything to work with, or is the track riding on the lyrics? I'm also waiting for a funny vocal psytrance mashup... psynews.org comedians are welcome to take up the mic for that one.

Nah, I am pretty cheerful - did you miss the rest of my post? unfortunatly I know shit music and terrible grandstanding rockstar djing when I hear it, and the size of the system has nothing to do with it. In fact, the setup at eclipse was the largest I've ever heard. Amplify bad sounds and they aren't going to sound any better... if anything it just makes them harder to escape from. Anyway, on the subject of awesome remixes, I think the Nam-Shub of Enki does a fine job with bah-nah-nana-nah-na-nah-nuh... TEQUILA!
-
Any idea where I could snag this in full-quality? It's unrel'd killllargh! Actually I just want it cuz it's a piece of history go Reefer!
-
I am still seeking info on the Ping REMIX... anyone know where it can be found in unmixed form? It can be heard in the Inventive Steps mix I believe... might be wrong - it's been a few years. Quirk rox.

Sorry about that - this was supposed to be a positive topic. I was actually thinking of starting a competing poll - what are the good remixes? Of course I am thinking specifically of non-psy stuff mixed into psy, which isn't quite the same as saying Son Kite did a bang-up job with Out of Range. On that note... Shift's Closer is a fantastic piece of work that I've finished a healthy portion of sets with this summer. I recently came across Indika's cover of The Cure and really enjoy it to be honest. Manifold's version of What Time is Love is a sick dancefloor workout, although I didn't find anyone that recognized the original in there unfortunatly (you can usually tell because someone starts jumping around going I know what theees issss!)... Minilogue's version of Billie Jean is pretty nice, and Abakus ripping the MJ bass line into that Entheogenic tune is good for a wry smile on a Sunday summer drive. X-Noize, a group I sort of despise, actually does a fine job with Faithless - Insomnia. Fungus Funk and Eskimo both do reasonable things with material from the Prodigy. Eraser vs Yojalka have a hilarious remix of that teddy bear song on one of the Antiscarp compilations (hee hee). OHOH! Loopus in Fabula's take on Funky Town is one of my all-time faves! What a fun track!! License to Slink is indeed good. It mixes with Rastaliens and their version of the Mission Impossible theme, which I also find amusing. Spy-trance, ohhh... Maybe one day someone can explain to me what Syb Unity Nettwerk's Space Puppy is all about, and whether there's actually anything Skinny in there at all. Ok, am I redeemed?

You also suck. Sorry. I'm not usually this arrogant but dear fuck, Dino is the worst DJ I've ever heard - he even outstinks Yaniv, and that takes a lot. The obnoxious rock star played this terrible remix of Tainted Love like three times during the weekend... it was an insult to everyone who attended the Eclipse festival that he played a DJ set on the friday that contained pretty much the same songs he played on Saturday. What kind of whack job does something like that? Tainted Love two or three times. New Order's Blue Monday twice. Beckers - Switch "I'm not your party toy" both nights. Everyone I know out here was astounded at the level of puke inducing bullshit this guy was capable of laying down. [/rant]
-
Proof that you suck. Cinos is no good - someone remix him.
-
Go out and make some converts I say... just don't sell out and commercialize your sound, right? I take every chance I get to play outside of the psytrance scene... show people what they're missing, piss others off. It works pretty well...
-
Was it 2 Unlimited? I had thought C+C music factory. Not that my 90s dance knowledge is all that sharp Right now I've got another remix on - Sub6 taking on Leftfield's Africa Shox. Not bad actually - sounds like their stuff usually does. Recently I've been having a laugh at the Walk Like an Egyptian remix posted over on Isratrance... well, I played it once and only once and have been laughing ever since. Laughing in terror? Could be... go search for it if you want to be in a strange state of shock and awe. There sure as hell isn't any shortage of remixes around!!
-
Indika's track is pretty nice actually... I am liking this fusion they have going on with this one. Maybe it's just the repressed goth in me appreciating this... but I'd call it a good fusion; not quite a remix... but a good bit of sampling.
-
Theta freq better than Penta? Are you nuts?
-
^ they are just trying to expand your perceptions of reality... like wow, full-price for a 4 track single full of shit! You must be hardcore psychotripper to go for that deal, put shiva up your bum and order now! That live mix of whatever shaw-kaka track is just so atrocious... CROWD NOISES... WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooo, Ultimate reaction:
-
Some of you chumps have probably not done more than skim it a few times.
-
psynews.org is home to the bitchiest reviewers this album kicks serious ass... it's been a long wait and well worth it!

I have the Moog 12"... Spectral is really a great group - made some excellent smooth long-lasting stuff for sure...

Sweet Child does suck. Today I came across a new remix... 2 Unlimited - Tribal Dance! Covered by... (wait for it) Terminator. It's on one of those new Deja Vu CDs... Joker's Necropolis. Ha. Ha. Ha.
