I did not have a positive trading experience with this seller... I feel there was some deception about sending his half of the trade, or he just forgot we agreed to send at the same time. Ended up waiting nearly 2 months to get the CD from him after sending mine, and it was damaged (scratches, hand marks). I mentioned this to the trader and he freely offers to send another CD to make up for it, with no strings attached or implied. I appreciate the generousity, pick one out, and inform him when it arrives. Then he tells me I owe him another CD, which is so completely wrong it boggles the mind. Nonetheless, I'm a nice guy, so I offer to do what I can. I had nothing else on my list that he was looking for so the only thing I could do was offer to "keep an eye out" which I did, despite feeling that I was being unfairly obligated to do so. Whatever. After this he begins to harass me online all the time - seldom about the trade - and it gets to the point where I had to block IM communication from him. Email was always open, but he never used it - though I don't know what he was going to say, since I had nothing in my possession that he wanted anyway! There's more stupid drama involved but put simply - I think this guy is a poor communicator, can't admit when he's wrong, is pushy and demanding, and is more trouble than he's worth to trade with. That's IMHO. Others have traded with him fine, but unfortunatly I didn't. That's my story, watered down for mass consumption. Beware.

Seriously, stop expecting anything as full-on and complex as their old stuff.... we've gone over this a million times in the forums Pleiadians had some extra members which really provided the WOW factor to the music!

Had to make some tough choices to represent a variety of releases I figured most would favour Talpa or the Misted Muppet over Synsun for that style. This is proving some interesting results... I'm glad I threw Abakus into the poll. Shulman was 2003? Whoops...

Its bizarre to see that AP recs is pretty much the top of the heap when it comes to vinyl these days... very nice cover art on those releases!!

Never liked Subcouds, honestly. Early Vibrasphere didn't hit me right either... but when they went all super dub-progressive, yum! The Total Skazi track was pretty good when it came out... I liked it a lot for the sample - something about banging a drum so hard it'll rip your ears out or god will hear it or something haven't heard it in years, and it's probably outdated by now, but really... along with Shiva Skazi it was just about the only thing that group has ever had a part of that I could actually say I liked.

Actually, it's not bad... I probably like this best from the new batch of Pleiadians tracks... super chugging bass on this one, and it does a few nice rolls. No it's not like the old stuff, but at least there are some "sparkling" melodies. Now if only they could add more layers...

OK, I'm not entirely sure what it is, or what their last album was, but it doesn't appeal to me. I take recommendations of Goa trance rather seriously, but Retrofuturism hasn't yet caught my interest. Honestly it sounds sort of dull and unfocused, muddy at times, nicely melodic at others - but still... hmmm....

Two words: KICK ASS.

Yeah, Juno Reactor's album is fantastic, but I must go with 12 Moons Close or don't close... this is psynews, we thrive on CHAOS.

I'm glad you catch the drift Close to 80GB was transfered in a month with bittorrent, all from my home computer. I can't imagine what this would have costed if I had put this mix on a web server

Matrix Cubed has some fucking awesome stuff in the works years after this... then he disappeared. Too bad, wish he had gone on to releases some of those projects. If you have the dark ambient piece "Mantis - Apollo" for example... well, fuck. That's some good stuff!
