  1. Basilisk

    Violin?

Uni - Regibell... hands down, best use of violin in psychedelic trance ever.
  2. Kailash is all great stuff... Hey, ever thought of returning to the Kaaya project? seems like you and Paul are into similar sounds these days... and maybe if you worked with Jean again you could get him out of the cut and paste routine Where can those holm & anderson tracks be found? discogs is down...
  3. How about "Save the Trance", artists donate tracks to be released and people buy to support the good cause of actually being able to release music to people without the label owner losing his shirt and living out of a cardboard box. Cool, huh? I tell you, it would be KILLLLEEERRRR.
  4. Admirable effort and all but 1 high quality CD would have done a lot more for the cause IMHO... son kite remix certainly adds some value though!
  5. Either way seems fine to me - I don't consider this album full-on. Much like Prometheus (hey! there's a comparable album - robot-o-chan!) I'd say this avoids the trends and just sticks to the general psychedelic trance concept. Oh but I wouldn't complain if the BPMs were dropped... I hope Yuli remixes some of these into progressive gems
  6. wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww yes yes it's a relly kiiler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! must be killling dark stuff donno much whewhhehehehehe.great top man Huahuahuahuahuahuauha... Your top10 look's for sure infected alot of twisted mind and sounded like room with evill ehehe keep rocking man love u selection is madness roll us BOFER ....pZZZZZZZZZZZZZmy man!!
  7. I'd call that particular album unique. In fact, I keep coming back to consider what might be a good companion piece and cant come up with anything that fits with the diverse styles, tribal touches, and fat production of that album... hmm... maybe Lunaspice - Reflexion? You'd have to like the more progressive sound for that one however - it isn't so diverse, but it IS fat and tribal.
  8. Heeeeeey HOLA BRO!!! JEJEJE NICE POST!! NICE I LIKE U WORDS!!I THINK U LIVE ITS KILLER!!!! killaaaaa !!! u are the one !!! i wanna read that !!!!! must be killer !!! SHIVA POWER Wowow !!!!
  9. The remix is great... one of the finest pieces of Goa out there imho.
  10. Would anyone use a psytrance/Goa bittorrent tracker to distribute full-quality or 320kbps mp3s free for download? There's no real reason to not send out big files unless you're looking for money or there are copyright issues... I imagine many people have true unlimited connections and can just leave their computer hooked online to seed the torrents easily enough... I know I can. Anyone?
  11. I'm salivating right now... look out for me, Ola http://www.discogs.com/wantlist?user=Ekto-Basilisk
  12. It was also released on vinyl... I had a bunch none left to sell now but what a collector's item!
  13. There's a million of those hard psy south african releases... might as well buy one as another I suppose. For Japanese trance, do yourself a favour and get to know the works of Uni.... single most underrated Japanese artist imho.
  14. I've seen this one go for quite a lot... $25US or so? yes it's a collector's item... partially due to it being an early Flying Rhino release.
  15. Can we get some love for this old song? Originally released back in 1993, it's a total gem of Goa trance If you enjoy the old school, be sure to give it a listen...
  16. The album just arrived in my mail today... thanks - and hey, a shout-out in the liner notes! I'm honoured! excellent stuff, this is the REAL GOA that I've been waiting for, having had to deal with mere substitutes in the last four years... great job Filteria & Suntrip Records crew! Also bought a few for some friends and I'm sure they'll be just as happy
  17. How about a store I'd actually patronize... oh well...
  18. Uni - La'movin... damnit, where is it already?!
  19. Let's not forget P.Cok - Double Doper, or Quirk - Cognitive Dissidents...
  20. Yep, this is it. I like how this forum is brash and full of opinions. What good is a forum if it can't serve as a conflicted interplay of ideas (right or wrong!)... moreover, there is less restriction concerning subject matter, which gives this a much more 'well-rounded' feel. Speak your mind - maybe someone will step on it for you but at least you're not sent to the "free speech zone" behind ten meters of barbed wire, guarded by chumps in riot gear handing out 'off-topic' stamps. I used to run a forum then I realized how much it sucks to host a local community. All responsibility and it's a thankless and stressful task (particularly so in my case, because I am often of a dissenting mind about common issues in the trance world). I think all I accomplished in trying to help out the community here was to ensure that I would never be booked by any local psy promoter. I suppose I lack sufficient sparkle power or something.
  21. Please... at least make a distinction between "full-on haters" and people who hate full-on non-stop for days. There IS a difference. P.S. who on this line-up is playing old school?
  22. There are a few artists I wouldnt mind seeing but JEEZ... can you say overkill? Lets get 40 acts that all sound the same? YEAY!
  23. I disagree on Paradise Connection, always found those sounds awkward in my ears (even compilation appearances etc) best old material was always stamped with Electric Universe
