    blissed

they have a full album on step2house! tracklist: A1 - taiyo A2 - niereka (with chris decker) B1 - inori C1 - snake C2 - aquaspace D1 - supernature (with chris decker) D2 - kundalini - (with takehiro tokuda) (chris decker = medicine drum) but this blissed ep on TTT, anyone know the codes for it? i recently did up a TTT page on astralogue, after the update, see here ---- tokyo tekno tribe... but i had no info on the blissed ep from this label. twould be interesting to hear... early stuff from t.suzuki and n.taylor tends to be better than the rest
  3. Basilisk

    blissed

no no this one is from 1992 - 1994 tsuyoshi also had a project "taiyo" that few people seem to know about.. some of it is quite nice for such old music but blissed i have never heard...
  4. anyone know much about this early project of tsuyoshi suzuki, t. tokuda, and nick taylor??
  5. funny.. you go to microdots and the crowd doesnt like it much =)
  6. hey that sounds really good... KIWA! that new EP of theirs is just amazing cha cha cha
  7. breaks served chilled are doing well... but its those high-energy dancefloor monsters i'm hunting for...
  8. you heard me... what happened to great goa / breakbeat crossover material from groups like germinating seeds of doda, snake thing, joujouka, metal spark, and digitalis? i've heard a few.. but it doesn't seem like any new artist is really carrying the torch, so to speak. eraser & yojalka are definatly in fine form however... ghost train is a fantastic new example of a song that is half breaks and half goa trance. the new stuff that is breaky seems to stray too far to one side or the other... i liked those songs that had a wicked bit of balance to it, throwing the beat patterns around like jumbled monkey heads in a barrel rolling down a volcano shooting fluorescent lava nodules out of its steaming toxic caldera.
  9. minimal? what kind of crack are you smoking and where can i get some
  10. i'll send you one in the mail...
  11. hey all... i ran across this, anyone know anything about it? http://www.psyristor.com/
  12. try looking for some of the artists on mp3.com... i was suprised to find mino (aka messiah) has a site with nearly all his old stuff online, some quite good i might add! try searching for that...
  13. droidsect - invasion from the outerspace is a popular one... lots of electric noises there... or how about hux flux - logarhythmic (sp?)...
  14. and someone else for live shows... maybe some help on the production. if the new album is anything like their newer songs hammerhead, x-isle, liquid neon sky etc then i'll be loving it... classic sound mixed with the new, and very epic feel throughout...
  15. yesh its a bad trend.. the arts are becoming lost.. soon i'll be running a mausoleum, not a web page astralogue got its update btw..
  16. holy war = amazing
  17. consider it just a beta, but the new version is finally bustin out... ASTRALOGUE for those that don't know, here's a little introduction... astralogue builds on the legacy of label discographies most notable in the 'psychedelic mind expander 2000' but strives for higher levels of accuracy and completeness (especially on the vinyl side). the astralogue is a reference site as opposed to an interactive one, existing solely to provide raw information (rather than user-inputted content like what you see here on psynews). next big step: artist discographies... look for 'em soon. any particular artists you'd like to see featured? lastly... if you find a bug or glitch let me know... see the help section for information on how to report that. enjoy... and now that this version is up - expect more frequent updates! peaze
  18. thanks DP, though of course my purpose in all this is to provide a nice reference guide, especially for vinyl fans... my biggest frustration when i got into buying wax was the lack of vinyl tracklists -anywhere-... you can find the cd but good luck having any idea whats on the vinyl album... goa is great music, i'm just glad i can provide something useful for people.. =)
  19. i've not seen that but it does happen on occasion... and its true, they did put the labels on the wrong side - infected is on the logo side [not info] on the two copies i've personally seen.
  20. i'm working as hard as i can this weekend and i really hope to have it up at the beginning of the next week... its a LOT of work -phew- inserting track lists and other features =) hey i spose i should just email the guys.. i did a while ago but didnt recieve much of a response (they sent me a list of their new stuff which wasn't quite what i was after)... i should try again, thanx
  21. i would very much appreciate it if anyone can tell me of the old pyramid/rtts/volume vinyl singles that came out in the mid 90s... here are the ones i know (not many - only a handful out of 15 or so i'm guessing) Hallucinogen / Doof / Mindfield / Medicine Drum - Spiked / We Are Free / Odyssey of the Mind / Wizard's Brew P 001 95 12" Outer Active - Up & Atom / Acrogen P 002 ?? 12" Slide / Moksha / Cosmic / Paradise Gaia - Chase / ? / Dreams / ? RTTS07 ?? 12" the later stuff i know of too... Quirk / Electric Tease - Disco Trash / The Edge RTTS10LPS 01 12" Dogma 3000 - Hey Mr. Juice [Orig w/Gus Till / Club Mix?] RTTS12T 01 12" Shakta & In R Voice - Present Moment [Orig / Electric Tease Mix] RTTS13T 01 12" but yeah... those old ones, i have no idea what they are... or if they even exist - i'm just guessing! thanks... and its for the astralogue - i want a good RTTS page since that label is so important (my opinion)..

  24. Spect-R - This is Acid Artist: Spect-R Title: This is Acid Label: Polytox Date: 1995 Track listing: 01. Acido Flamenco 02. This is Acid 03. Aircrash Review: This early 12" from the Kopfuss/Hiscore bunch is full of acid trance influences and represents the style of the 95/96 years when Goa Trance was a big mixture of various kinds of trance. The formats of the songs often reflect techno influences, though the repeating sounds are often evolving acid lines and bubbling 303s. Spect-R use strong sweeps and pads on "Acido Flamenco" and this track plods along... not the best from this EP. "This is Acid" contains some very trancey riffs and a bouncy, kicking beat. This is the most memorable tune on the EP, as it has nice composition and pleasing sounds. Sadly it fades off slowly - that kind of ending sounds contrived somehow, when the composition could be more epic. The flipside is more like early Goa Trance than acid sounds, but the drums sound weaker and the melodies don't evolve as much. It works out to be an alright tune but nothing special. Overall this is a fine old school EP with lots of acid influences, from the early days of Goa 6/10
