hehe i like it when they go backwards! the next thing twisted has to do is an "inter-weaved" disc... has anyone seen those? you have the grooves more spaced out and you start two songs at the same time so depending on exactly where you drop the needle you might get either track.

yar! i finally got a track list of the kiwa 12" surreal audio put out so i was able to find some of those tunes on audiogalaxy and WOW! psychedelic music with depth and a lot of fun/weird/strange sampling going on! i immediately zeroed in on the one store i could find that had it for sale and ordered that as well as eraser vs yojalka (another 12" i wouldn't have bought if i hadn't heard it through audiogalaxy). the finns are doing good stuff these days! you have to hear this music... it has funk, it has vibe, it has JAZZ samples (and i'm all about the jazz-goa fusion these days).. damn fine music, can't wait for the vinyl to arrive =) anyhow thought i might pass on that recommendation... if you've raised an eyebrow to some of the recent finnish stuff and wondered how it is, i'd say its wicked new material - something fresh retaining the spirit of the old!

oh people call this stuff cheezy, definatly... but dont let that bother you - its beautiful music and other people can share that with you. juan has done a few more things but nothing more recent as far as i know... try out an album in the reviews called "cosmic connection" or "cosmic communication" or something... old album, from 93 or 94, but it has some nice old songs (mushroomman, afternoon trip, etc)... there is also a remix to spiritual healing that appeared on the ORIGINAL 12" (NOT the crappy dragonfly release).. good luck finding it, i dunno anyone else who owns that record...peace

chaos lab does indeed represent all their most creative work... do androids dream...? jaws... red light!! like cmon, what have they done since that has something similar in terms of composition and depth of sound??
