don't even start with that... sympatico.ca is huge! and of all people, am =I= gonna think hom-mega is cheeze? HELL NO! but i do look down on their cd-only policy, and for that reason, don't own a single one of their products... just whatever balloonia presses.

old school is the best, i dont see how the classic sounds are ever going to be bettered... it isnt a matter of production levels or mastering, its about feeling and vibe. the new stuff mostly dont have that... my own problem is that i can't remember a time when there were goa parties in this town that did have much of the old school goa sound... so i've not had enough - i'm not sick of it one bit! last night i sat around the house and played the first 3 dragonfly compilations in consecutive order... definatly some golden oldies there! but the music is timeless, at least for some of us! if throwing parties were a bit easier i'd probably get involved in another one... last year we had the goal of throwing a small party with ALL classic old goa and such and it worked! all night long we heard mwnn, pleiadians, jaia, cosmosis, some old infected, ux, and other goodies... to finish off the night we heard some great classic trance from the early time unlimited days and such.. it really worked out well for the few fans of the old out there! but alas... tons of work it is, and there really isnt TOO much interest... but i'll continue to play my old records out... so it'll never die.
