thanks for the input... i also wouldn't mind a little discussion on the morality of it all. my personal opinion is that mp3s or audio should never be sold without the artist getting a cut as long as this material can be bought in stores currently. when its all 5+ years old, and you'll only find these records in used shops and rare places, and the labels have all folded since they released their music, then the artist isn't going to recieve a penny of whatever you might spend if you happened to come across this music. but nonetheless, i am not the universal moral force so would welcome input and discussion on the topic since one thing i -definatly- don't want to do is offend any artists with this practise! to me, its just a way of practising archaeology on music... diving into the past, into this scene we all love, and finding gems lost to the passage of time... anyhow, this project will take some months to complete and i have all your email addresses [except jeto - but i'll find yours if you dont get a hold of me ]... so expect to hear something, sometime... oh and btw i've already spent around $500 on chance records i've never actually heard so when it all arrives i hope i find some good stuff! peace

orichalcum is great... what i keep thinking of is that they've got a sound that can be summed up as being "plastic"... oforia is well known for "metallic"... cosmosis could be "fluoro" ? irrelevant, i know

i would recommend... license to slink supernatural lunar juice [hallucinogen mix] fridge full of mutants the wizard [koxbox remix] but for sure check out supernatural.. i just discovered that one recently [had it for a while but it never clicked].. quite nice

the only good new melodic stuff seems to be something different... i dont really think ra/d5 and all that stuff is up to par with the old classics - those albums lack some imagination at times... but then you hear that green house effect cd and its just blissful, not trying to be anything its not, very innocent and very trancey. but where's the rest? all the melodic stuff i'm enjoying that is new tends to be something like logic bomb's "dumbfound" or the excellent "silent running" by saiko-pod or prometheus with the great tune "time bandit"... but unless you like the BPMs a bit slower, the beats a bit deeper, and a different format and style to these melodic songs, i doubt you'd catch on...

into the light is great, one of my fave releases from this year... beautiful track...!

yah, one thing i'll definatly be doing is getting some high-quality components like a good cooler/fan complex and a nifty case and what not... but hey, about this delta 66 - does it have a midi port of some kind?
