DJing shouldn't be anything like arithmetic... i would say that those that mix with BPMs are the lazy ones - not using the skills you have available, not troubling to actually bother to do what any proper DJ does. you're not supposed to consult a list nor calculate the pitch shifts while you're spinning those records - you're supposed to be feeling the vibe of it all and carefully selecting the next track to weave into your storytelling. does the music not have a soul? use BPMs if you will... but don't make comments such as what you have said - you are obviously misguided or perhaps we all misunderstand. perhaps music doesn't mean the same thing to you... is it a joke? or a science? or something from the heart?

it is against evolution... a crutch, a handicap. why do it?

i like noosphere a lot! i would agree, their album is quite nice... and their new single - AMAZING. KA sol !!! btw "spect-r" is aka kopfuss resonator i believe... but for my originals... people i yak about a lot but dont hear too much response about... #1 would be PSYCHOID who make fantastic music...

the basic point is that these labels have gone from releasing all quality music to releasing a LOT of music with only a few gems hidden in the mush. what is wrong with them? it seems the creativity has been sapped out of some of them... for example check out the new cydonia tune: BASS MONSTER... its an ok track but when you break it down it is just a simple beat with samples from old material!! even the bass line is ripped off! so what gives? dragonfly and atomic still have some good stuff... i like a bit of the new dragonfly progressive like the prometheus/saikopod EP, 12 moons with northern star, etc... but flying rhino i just cant get into at all any more. why is it that when labels try new things everyone goes with them? why aren't they releasing some good goa alongside the techno stuff? thats the real thing i want to know... but anyhow, it is surely wise advice to simply 'buy elsewhere' and thats what i will be doing if these people continue to follow trends instead of setting them.

i'm buying the vinyl so i get to hear two of the songs from the album. thanks again tip world. *grumble*
