  1. Can I get a little love for what I've been posting on Ektoplazm? http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/subcon...mezzo-extended/ http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/manmad...n-of-the-light/ http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/entheo...dio-archive-30/ http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/mukti-magick-mother-ep/ http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/the-future-of-light/ http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/energies-around/
  2. Well, if the label doesn't want my money...
  3. Thanks everyone, I really need some recommendations for this year... I'm feeling a bit behind (or, rather, I've been sucked into the world of techno where it's all single tracks on Beatport and such--not a lot of full album releases worth mentioning). Here is what I have so far: http://www.ektoplazm.com/projects/essential-selections/2009/ It's in need of a serious update though.
  4. Try out these two albums: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/subcon...mezzo-extended/ http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/manmad...n-of-the-light/ And if you haven't already explored my site... well, I suggest you do so
  5. SUBCONSCIOUSMIND - INTERMEZZO EXTENDED 01 :: Unpredictalizer (145 BPM) 02 :: Essenz (142 BPM) 03 :: Hector The Dark (145 BPM) 04 :: MyMusic (145 BPM) 05 :: (Out-In)Side (145 BPM) 06 :: Past Be Past (143 BPM) 07 :: iRemberem oGa (145 BPM) Intermezzo Extended is the latest full-length release from SubConsciousMind (Raphael Huber), a self-made Swiss artist with an original approach to composing next-level psychedelic dance music. While it masterfully captures the essence of the classic Goa trance sound, this album transcends mere nostalgia by shaping the spirit of the past into something new and completely unique. The seven songs that form Intermezzo Extended are primed to launch the listener on an epic journey into visionary dimensions of sound seething and shimmering with complex melodies, irresistible rhythms, and raw emotional depths. With powerful storytelling and an uncommon degree of musicality SubConsciousMind has forged a modern-day gem straight from the heart. My time slot was 9pm to 11pm on the opening night, Friday. Since people were just arriving I opted to play a deep and driving blend of techno and progressive psytrance to warm up the crowd and get everyone excited for the three days and nights of music to come. As with any live recording there are a few imperfections but I am mostly happy with how it all came out. Given how early I was on, many of my friends from Toronto were unable to catch it, so posting this set is also my way of saying “here’s what you missed!” Download it here: http://www.ektoplazm.com/mixes/dj-basilisk...t-eclipse-2009/ You might also like my "Live at Dreamcatcher" set. 8. MANMADEMAN - CHILDREN OF THE LIGHT 01 :: Different Form (120 BPM) 02 :: Tribal Mentality (120 BPM) 03 :: Stillness Within (80 BPM) 04 :: Conscious Creators (140 BPM) 05 :: Procession (141 BPM) 06 :: Light Craft (140 BPM) 07 :: Flower Of Light (110 BPM) Ektoplazm proudly presents Children Of The Light, the sixth album from the legendary ManMadeMan (Sonya Bailey & Paul Baguley). Over the years ManMadeMan has built up an extraordinary reputation releasing music on countless labels and gigging all over the world. In 2007 the band independently released Free To Listen direct to the Internet, thereby becoming one of the first major EDM acts to fully embrace the free music model of digital distribution. After being amazed and inspired by the reaction to all of this, ManMadeMan now returns to share a new album bursting with creativity and filled with fresh ideas. Children Of The Light is an incredibly diverse production, running the gamut from tribal progressive trance and ethereal downtempo to full-on floor-burning madness, all interwoven with ManMadeMan’s signature sound. This album is dedicated to all the listeners, dancers, labels, artists, and children that have changed the course of history. 10. Actually it is rather entertaining. And here are many entities within the psytrance scene that need the sort of kick in the ass that only Damion has been willing to regularly provide.
  11. A Sound Field double feature! Sound Field – Saved By Technology EP 01 :: Mentally Confused (145 BPM) 02 :: Saved By Technology (140 BPM) 03 :: Oriental Groove Alliance (125 BPM) After a long hiatus Sound Field (Andy Yakovlev) returns with the Saved By Technology EP, the first of several new releases from N.Division Media, Andy’s independent netlabel. Featuring three tracks rescued from the archives, this release ranges in style from full-on with an old school Goa touch to pounding progressive psytrance and ethno-flavoured downtempo. Download it for free in MP3/FLAC/WAV direct from Ektoplazm: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/sound-...-technology-ep/ Sound Field – Copenhagen Intense EP 01 :: NASA - Legolam (Sound Field Remix) (134 BPM) 02 :: Sound Field - Copenhagen Intense (129 BPM) Copenhagen Intense is the second in a new trilogy of EPs by Sound Field (Andy Yakovlev), the Israeli producer behind the Sonify and ProSect projects. Released on the N.Division Media netlabel, this EP features two pounding progressive psytrance tunes loaded with tribal grooves and shimmering melodies. After opening with a moving remix of a classic NASA song from 2004 (originally released by Iboga Records on the Set 3 compilation), Andy charts a course into the depths with the gorgeous title track, Copenhagen Intense. Not to be missed! Download it for free in MP3/FLAC/WAV direct from Ektoplazm: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/sound-...gen-intense-ep/ Sound Field has a third EP coming soon... and you can grab all of his previous freebies by checking this link: http://www.ektoplazm.com/profiles/ndivision-media/
  12. 120 copies? You could give it away for free and upsell those 120 copies if this is any good.
  13. Some good stuff here. Too bad it's basically just an MP3 group release (although legal).

    .

Working on it I should probably mention that priority goes to people who actually place an order on Discogs over PMs and such... just to be fair.
  15. You didn't go to parties then. Do you go to them now?
  16. Uh, what? I'm a huge old school fan. I also happen to like other styles of psytrance, techno, and electronic music in general. Do I have to hand in my membership card now?
  17. The idea that there is some super awesome old school Goa trance laying around waiting to be rediscovered is very nice and all but... I think it's all been torn up and exposed to the light by now. All you are likely to find are curiosities.
  18. A heavily techno-saturated top 25... http://www.ektoplazm.com/journal/progressi...hart-july-2009/ "Harmonisch Serie" is really something else. Never heard this stuff recommended by anyone. I just leeched a whole bunch of Traum releases and was completely blown away. (Then bought a ton on Juno.)

TONS of new stuff online: http://www.discogs.com/sell/list?seller=Ekto-Basilisk I'll work out some special deal for quantity purchases.
