  1. 01 :: Premonition (7:27) 02 :: Astronomical Unit (7:07) 03 :: Julia (7:47) We are proud to present the very first netlabel release from Ektoplazm: Ekoplex’s Enter The Dragon EP. Ekoplex is Ray Vincent, a multifaceted psytrance producer currently based in Toronto, Canada, already known across the country for his engaging live shows. The Enter The Dragon EP showcases three different sides to Ekoplex’s production capabilities: Premonition pulsates with full-on energy and a dirty techtrance drive, Astronomical Unit exudes dark and whimsical qualities, and Julia delves into bright and melodic vibes for the morning hours. This release has been professionally mastered at Timecode Studios, South Africa. The Enter The Dragon EP is licensed under the Creative Commons; you are encouraged to share, copy, broadcast, and perform this recorded work as long as it isn’t for commercial gain. In addition to the free MP3 and WAV packages, this release is available for purchase on CD as part of Ektoplazm’s groundbreaking hybrid distribution model. We welcome your support! http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/ekople...-the-dragon-ep/
  2. They're a professional promotion service for the psytrance scene... one of the very few legitimate operators of this kind. As for PsyNina, well... pay the fee, receive the exposure. No surprise there; that's business! Besides, would the world really be as interesting without this bizarre phenomenon?
  3. Good catch; I ordered both last night! It is almost shocking that I don't own either on CD... but that's what years of vinyl collecting did to me. Most of my old school is still on wax!

  5. Have you tried these? http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/pan-ps...not-who-we-are/ http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/mindsp...-inner-cyclone/ http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/new-bo...he-observer-ep/ http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/golden-vibes-2/ http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/nolax-persistence-20/
  6. Really? For me, Delta Aquarids is one of the truly timeless Goa trance albums... it never gets old for me.
  7. Well, that's my criticism... the cover is the result of running one Photoshop filter and slapping a font on it.
  8. Hmm, what about these? From the low effort department: And what's this? A relic from 1997 or something? Not sure about this... at least there is an idea to it but the execution seems a bit flat:
  9. Ugh... but parts of the track listing look too good to pass up.
  10. At last, it is complete... The actual release should be coming out within the week. Stay tuned
  11. I will do my best to free up some time if at all possible!
  12. Looks interesting! Will there be a lossless version available soon?
  13. What browser/OS are you using? I have verified these downloads just now and both are working fine. Try again and see if you end up with the same trouble--perhaps there was a blip of some kind on the hosting server.
  14. You're very welcome I am glad to find that the site has been of such use to so many people! Please, spread the word far and wide :posford:
  15. Great news! A slightly remastered version of Neural Network Expansion is now available for download in lossless WAV format. You can grab it direct from my site: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/cybern...work-expansion/
  16. John 00 picks out some very good tracks for his mixes. I can't even fault him for including the odd punter-pleasing vocal blow-out. Considering the market for this, it's a rather tight track listing. Do you see any Skazi on that track list? No, you see Kiwa and Highpersonic Whomen and Nyquist, for starters. Frankly if this draws a little more attention to these artists, then... great! I don't see what the problem is.
  17. 01 :: ManMadeMan - The Path (8:28) 02 :: Oscuro - Darkness Fighter (7:54) 03 :: Barby - Phase (7:45) 04 :: Opsy - Dig A Hole (8:59) 05 :: Manibus - Hello (6:57) 06 :: Le S4B0T3UR - Coroded (7:51) 07 :: Pinga - Leave The L (7:24) 08 :: Cujorius One - We Turn Our Faces Dirty (4:59) 09 :: Phasetech - Vibrasonic (7:48) 10 :: Trimada - Cloverfield (6:56) Supermarket is the fourth release from the experimental psytrance netlabel Ultiva Records. After the success of their previous offering, Voice Of Sauron, Ultiva has now broadened their scope to explore the hard and mechanical sound of modern techtrance. With selections from several veteran acts including Trimada, Cujorius One, and ManMadeMan—as well as some pleasant surprises from newcomers like Phasetech and Opsy—Supermarket represents a wide cross-section of techtrance talent. Supermarket was compiled by Opsy & Lara and mastered at TesseracT Studio, Belgrade, with artwork by Kanc Cover and support from Soundmute.org. http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/supermarket/
  18. Here's a tip for all you old school fanatics... by way of Isratrance: http://forum.isratrance.com/uforica-make-y...07-free-hq-320/ Some parts remind me a little of Pan Psychic... so if you liked that release, maybe this will be for you.
  19. Remember when top tens were huge? I notice people aren't so into them anymore.
  20. X-Dream full-on? I don't think so. Not in the modern sense of the term anyhow.
  21. If you want authentic Goa trance then check out the following labels: Dragonfly TIP Blue Room Matsuri Flying Rhino Spirit Zone Transient Symbiosis Twisted Phantasm/Psychic Deli Koyote Phonokol Psy-Harmonics Concept In Dance Tokyo Tekno Tribe Krembo Return To The Source Once you have these covered you need to explore the work of these artists (most of which did not release with the larger, more recognizable Goa trance labels): Eat Static Deviant Electronics Dimension 5 Elysium Morphem Indoor OOOD Planet B.E.N. Medicine Drum Biot Psygone Bypass Unit CHI-A.D. Tromesa Uni At this point your knowledge of Goa trance should be quite substantial. There is a lot more to explore, of course... many good artists released canonical works with outside labels (X-Dream on Tunnel, Koxbox and Eternal Basement on Harthouse, Juno Reactor and Doof on NovaMute, etc.), and there are also several smaller labels that are worth looking into (Nephilim, BTM, Polytox, Edgecore, Platipus, Eye Q, Celtic, Boom, 21-3, Input, Ceiba, Hadshot, WMS, Equinox, Questionmark, early 3D Vision, Planet Dog, Elektrik Orgasm, Cabbaged, POF) when you run out of material on the previous lists. Be sure to use Discogs to cast a wider net; look up an artist you like and find out what labels they released on. Happy hunting!
