  1. The Poker Flat guys ended up hooking me up with a link to a German webshop that had the 2xCD version... bliss! I really like the whole album, and the bonus CD is full of great tunes to blend with the deeper side of psytrance (as well as the fashionable Minilogue/Extrawelt side of things)... impressive genre-defying stuff! If you enjoy music that goes "click" as well as "boom" then give it a whirl.
  2. Electrypnose put 2013 up on his web site... it is probably still available for download there. Good tune! Strangely enough, I was invited to play at a hardcore/breakcore house party not so long ago... and they loved all the mental stuff I was laying down (mostly just for fun) which included everything from Nam-Shub to Horror Place, with lots of Osom-related tunes in the mix. I will admit I was a bit surprised when I heard one of the other DJ/live acts playing tracks from Procs that night. Afterwards, I surfed Discogs to find some names to plug into Soulseek to see if I could find anything that I might enjoy playing alongside the faster psytrance in my collection, and Venetian Snares was an obvious pick. I also stumbled upon an artist with a name that always makes me laugh whenever I think of it: Duran Duran Duran. I dunno, I guess that's just my kind of humour. Anyhow, I can totally see what you mean--that most of the "speedy" darkpsy is just rubbish (not that I needed to compare to good fast music to know that)... but, again, Osom and related projects do a fine job of it, and there are some others making interesting stuff. Do I want to dance to this stuff? Not really. But I can enjoy it, or, better yet, play it out for others
  3. Fun, silly, melodic, and experimental... Sounds Cool!
  4. Check out the Peace For The Wicked compilation and you will hear extreme psychedelia from Osom at 200+ BPM... Electrypnose also has some good songs that are at extreme tempos. I think the thing here is that psycore/gabbapsy/whatever is quite attractive to young producers (many which you mention) but their enthusiasm outweighs their production abilities. I also think it may be useless to try and achieve trance with 160+ BPM music; it is another experience entirely...
  5. Sweet... I will find some interesting way to use the feed
