  1. Another big batch of rarities have been added and they're going fast!!
  2. Thanks, will do. I also updated the list with a whole stack of new vinyl goodies tonight enjoy.
  3. I just emailed the label and they set me up with a proper copy very nice of them! Heheh! Much thanks to Oxygen for getting that sorted out.
  4. Doof - Let's Turn On ends in such an epic and majestic fashion... now that is a proper comedown!
  5. Was this track ever released without an error? Top three modern full-on tunes hmm... well this is not definitive, but three good tunes on the top of my head are: 1) Aphid Moon & Lucas - Dark Star 2) Scorb & Tenzing - Cack-O-Phony 3) Mr. Peculiar - Crystal Myth Oopie, have you heard the Psypilot remix of Logic Bomb? I like that one too...
  6. Feedback on eBay: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...ame=STRK:ME:UFS Feedback on discogs: http://www.discogs.com/sell/seller_feedback/Ekto-Basilisk
  7. Additional. CDs are cheap, but vinyl is a bit more expense--see my discogs sellers account for a table of estimates. I should also mention I seldom check this forum, so do PM me with any questions or offers
  8. I will now be keeping this list entirely updated http://www.discogs.com/sell/list?seller=Ekto-Basilisk
  9. He has a very unique, cerebral sound... I hope he is coming out with some new material soon. He's been gone too long!
  10. I have not seen any photos on the net that do his work justice... it's really some of the most amazing, world-class deco art around! ...and I'm not just saying that coz I know the guy
  11. Stating your opinion is one matter... repeating it ad nauseum is what I'm tired of hearing. Any time a topic on Filteria comes up, you rush in to criticize. Run a search and you'll see--you're like a broken record. Then again, I have stated this at least twice now
  12. Can we have a Filteria fan topic without backlash?
  13. Haha... record asking bid for a Skazi release: http://cgi.ebay.com/Skazi-Animal-2LP-Shaff...1QQcmdZViewItem
  14. Old topic... now I highly recommend investigating Rapid Evolution 2... more on that later.
  15. In these times, with all the DJ nobodies touting compiler credits, it is little more than yet another marketing vehicle... but there are some exceptions. You generally know what you're getting when you pick up a DJ Laureth compilation for example.
  16. I wonder if Minilogue qualifies.
  17. And the winner is... *drumroll* Tripych - Celtych!
  18. This topic is SO nerdy, I love it! I'd give 'im Koxbox - Forever After and Astral Projection - Trust In Trance...
  19. Talent isn't the ability to deal with shitty equipment... yeah, you can train yourself to ride the pitch like a demon on the CDJ-100s but why not get something half-way decent so you don't have to waste the time? I'm with Lepton--people tend to think their mixes are way tighter than they are...
  20. 100% agreed... it is one of my all-time favourites.
  21. I have always thought that Flying to the Sky involved Kylven, but I have no source nor evidence for that notion.
  22. CDJ-200s or CDJ-1000s depending on your budget. If you want to scratch, look into one of those Final Scratch-like products (Serato, or that Numark turntable that does both mediums)...
  23. I buy CDs, but there are times when I would like to purchase WAV files as well, mainly when I only like one or two tracks out of a release (and usually, this only happens with compilations). It might be different if the market were quicker to adapt to pure digital sales, but no one has really made that step yet. For digital downloading, here are some points which should be considered: - Songs should be cheaper than the equivalent unit price of a song on a CD - High resolution cover art and packaging data should come with every full album purchase - Lossless formats are suspect (this is my personal bias: if I'm paying, I demand WAV format) - Compressed formats are unacceptable in any instance Essentially, the desired effect is to convey all of the data present in the physical object (the CD) and put it up for sale online. The data includes not only the audio information, but also the graphics and any other materials. Ideally, with the proper tools, I should be able to manufacture, at home, exactly what I would have bought from the store. That is still a few years away, in all likelihood, but let us not lose sight of the future goal.
