Are you illiterate or something? This is no complaint... I sure as hell do write my own reviews... and I actually find in-depth reviews very useful. Zero out of three - nice going!

Remember when we all used to write "GREAT album! Love tracks 3,6,7,8, get this now"? Look at some of us reviewers these days, writing thousand word essays (or more). As an interesting exercise I propose that all the big reviewers - DP, pr0fane, and all others - try to tackle an old school classic (pre-2000), and see what you can come up with by writing in the modern style. I know compilations are much easier, so I suggest you take on an album release! Give an old classic the thorough treatment! I'm trying this too, as I realized I don't have even one album from before the millenium reviewed on my site...

Electric Universe always comes out with great tunes these days - I don't know what the hatin' is all about... he's at the top of the field.

Canadian record labels: Boshke Beats / Cold Groove / Jester Canadian artists of note: Nuclear Ramjet / Axiomata / Metalogic Going back a bit we could dredge up Data Entry, PTK, ISMS, etc... Actually the thing to keep in mind is that almost all of these projects hail from Eastern Canada... if we look to B.C. we find Interchill, Adham Shaikh, etc. That's definatly the "West Coast flavour"... but it's rather techy here in the East.

Is techtrance our national sound the way Israelis have Alien Project and all the full-on stuffs?

Weird... I have not yet reviewed any 2006 releases... I give them time to settle Should have something within a week though...

Gappeq is always good, and that last tune consistently gets dancefloors screaming more than any other... so, not bad I guess... but there's still lots of filllllargh.

I don't think there's much of a question given X-Dream's sustained impact from day one. Astral were big in their day but they never re-invented themselves the way Rough & Rush have...
