  1. Aphid Moon + Lucas is a deadly combination... I'll be checking this one out for sure.
  2. Snake Thing · It's All Good [surreal Audio] 2002 (Vinyl Single) A :: It’s All Good B :: It’s All Good (Kiwa Remix)
  3. YES! I finally own MOS - Drive! It was a sealed copy too! GO EBAY... and hunting for 2 yrz off and on
  4. More often than not, vocals are a deterrant... sometimes they work but it's quite rare. In any case, they tend to reduce the 'lifetime' of a track, for lyrics are a much more overt method of instilling distinction in a piece, and consequently, the allure wears off that much quicker.
  5. The cover art looks nice and the first Sub release was great... good luck!
  6. It's now available through BitTorrent! http://www.ektoplazm.com/tracker/torrents/...6_-_MP3.torrent Full story: http://www.ektoplazm.com/audio/dark-noizez/

    V/A - Street Art

    Review: http://www.ektoplazm.com/reviews/street-art/
  8. New & improved direct link: http://www.free604.com/files/basilisk-myst...evelation-2005/
  9. Sure, that would be great. Take note of the URL change (not that it matters much - some people were having trouble with brackets and spaces though): http://www.free604.com/files/basilisk-heliocentric-2006/
  10. Are you talking about what psytrance people (erroneously, right) call "3/4 time" or "staggerred beat"? Dark Soho's Aggressive, Growling Mad Synchro's Bandicoot on the Run, and parts of that great new tune La Cosa Nostra - is this what you mean?
  11. http://www.ektoplazm.com/reviews/ -> click on "All Reviews" -> check out anything that rates higher than "8" I would add to that: 12 Moons - Solid State Jaia - Fiction Androcell - Efflorescence Entheogenic - Spontaneous Illumination ...just off the top of my head.
  12. Here's a direct link: http://www.free604.com/files/basilisk-heliocentric-2006/
  13. It's good in the sense that I can summon up the melody in my head without thinking too hard... I think I actually played this at an outdoor party last year (it may have been Hypnotica though). Great tune!

Damn single quote. Should be all fixed.

*UPDATED* I dug out a few more rare vinyls from my collection, as well as some CDs... check it out!
  16. Chaddup, this isn't isratrance! Nice one, Ola! Lots of rarities!
  17. LPS is the one exception for me... I love their demented take on things. Denial and Error is especially powerful, just loaded with insanely sick songs that are wry, humorous, and still have some depth.
  18. I just put together an impromptu compilation from WAVs I had lying around (bought online or from otherwise cruddy CDs or whatever)... tracklist: James Monro - Battered Phony Orphants - Scratchi Cyberbabas - Indigo Blue Segment - Whooky's Wha Ticon - The Clown Smells Like Gasoline Jaia - Mad Processor Inside Shpongle - Divine Moments of Truth (Instrumental) Wizzy Noise - Time Line (BPC Remix) Younger Brother - Evil and Harm So the goal is... get something nice and snug that would fit on a CD, with some variety, that would make for a sweet little listening experience. Go!
  19. What's the deal? I'm hearing a lot of stuff that sounds like demented hard dance music... NU-NRG on ketamine basically. Revenge of teh rave? Damage is a great example of this... comps like Basstardz, Electric Embryo (to an extent), etc... When does this stuff get it's own little pet name? PSYRAVE?
  20. I like the tracks... this is basically Voices of Madness part II, three years later by completely different artists. One major downside - this is some of THE worst cover art and packaging I've ever seen. Low-rez graphics, weeeeird cardstock/paper (what is that, plastic?) with bubbles from where the cheap machines didn't print right... well, could go on, but whatever. I like the tunes!
