Sorry about that - it should be fixed now!

    Forest?

HELLO EVERYONE - CINOS IS A TROLL IN CASE YOU HAVEN'T REALIZED... THE MUSIC FOR HIM IS THEREFORE "BRIDGE".
  3. Another point of discussion... I don't think the term "scandosound" refers to any trance made in Scandinavia, but rather, a specific subset of it... namely the acts I mentioned. Orebro freak madness and all the rest is something different imho.

    Psychopod - Headlines

I point to this when people ask how complex psychedelic trance can get. Triumphant!
  5. 01 :: Paranoize - Long Time No See 02 :: Dominator - New Generation 03 :: Wizard Lizard - Nightmare (Remix) 04 :: Blisdragon Demogorgon - Programing Concentration 05 :: N3XU5 - Cybergothic 06 :: Psychotic Micro - Imorality 07 :: Sungirl - Inoy 08 :: Kemic-Al - Sophisticated Vampires 09 :: Claw vs Paranoize - Lochnes
  6. I don't hear this term all that often any more, but if you think back to the releases on Spiral Trax from about 2000 forward there's an indisputedly unique style being exemplified. Atmos, Noma, S>Range, and Vibrasphere all had a rather original and cohesive thing going on with their debut albums - smooth and sophisticated music ranging from pumping to tranquil. Do you have any specific favourite tracks from this era, I wonder? I suppose a secondary topic would be - is thist stuff even made any more? I'd wager Gaudium's album may qualify for obvious reasons... but most of the artists from that old time have moved on and seemingly been absorbed into other movements. Human Blue's latest for example - would you even use the phrase 'scandosound' to refer to that one? Everyone's just talking progressive these days, and I think that is generally a more accurate representation of what most of them are doing. Somewhere along the line it began to lack the unique character that gave these Swedish maestro's such a powerful reputation in the world of trance. Personally I'm a big fan of tracks like S>Range - Darwin Project, Noma - Another Time, and Prex - S4. I'll throw in a few more later on, but I'm interested to hear what people think.
  7. Wait, stay a while, have fun with it. Is anyone taking this seriously? Don't. Here, let's bring Conan the Psybrarian back: Look at this guy - he looks so happy! ->
  8. Thanks... the wave isn't out there somewhere though?
  9. He played the shit remix round-up... Acid for Nothing, Smells Like Teen Spirit, some Infected maybe, and a bunch of other crap I tried to eradicate from my memory. It was BAD... back in 2003. It's a good thing that everything changes I'll still give a set of his a shot.
  10. Torrentized for your downloading pleasure! 11. Fully agreed! I only heard him once but he played a set full of remixes - Skazi stuff, Metallica remixes and shit. It was fucking awful. Maybe he's good with the electro nowadays. I do like electro actually... gotta be someone good though. Nivoc out of Montreal is my new fave.
  12. The music is consistently great... with so many releases coming out I can always find something I really like.
  13. Chuddup. I'll tell you what ruined psytrance. All the damn glow sticking freaks!
  14. Oh yeah. How could we forget? 13. MP3 DOWNLOADING KILLED PSY TRANCE R.I.P.
  15. I take that back... I've never heard anything on Doof records I felt like spending money on or even taking up hard drive space with. Bleh!
  16. If you guys want smaller more pristine parties, come to North America... things are tight here - no commercialization just about 160BPM cats in a blender beats? Sign me up!
  17. Welcome to Kim Jong-Il, he's got what you need...

    Sungirl

Stella played one of the yuckiest full-on morning sets at a festival I went to last year... on the other hand, she also played a wicked show here in Toronto. I think I'm breaking a convention by rating a female dj on her actual performance, and not looks. You may now stab me with harpoons.
  19. You know what's way better than promos? When artists appreciate your review and send you unreleased stuff from the time of the album... fucking awesome
