This is a good psychedelick trance album, with lot of liquid feeling, and some groovy tempo on some track, we have here a powerfull bassline, with a touch of dark, and not really melodies, but the liquid arrangement rock very well ... that remind me some stuff as Scord/Menog/G-Light ... but in better here. Favorite track are NOVA (track 4) CRYSTALIS (track 5) and ABCADA (track 7), but there is one bad track sadly, the track name off the album CIVILISATIONS (track 8). Nice one 7.5/10.

Yes, i agree that Ultimae is one off the greatest label ever ... the design, the artists, the spirit off this world is wonderfull. When i bought my new solar field album, i received lot of postcards and one with a nice word from them, they sent me some stuff for having nice feeling when listening the release. All their cover art are nice, Ultimae is a world from outer space. If you don't like ambiant, it's sure it's hard to appreciate ultimae ... thanx for this team and this job. Keep up the good work.

Maden replied to Goannes's topic in General Psytrance
Double Impact ... i really don't like and deeper in zen, it's not brilliant ... for others, i never heard about. -
I agree with Frontier Psychiatrist, 2004 was very good year, but 2005, one of the worst with 2001.

Available for 2005 release only or not ? ... cause it's 4 album bought for the year but more older release for me.

This album is one off these which i don't know if it worth the buy. Today, i have not a lot off money, so i don't buy this but, maybe later. For me, only the 3 first track are great. My favorite track is Tripmonx, i like the progression beetween each pattern, and the work on the atmosphere, and Burning Illusion which host a very nice mélodie at the end, evolution off the little and simple melodie off the begining. I will give another listen for the other track and i tell you that. It's absolutly not a progressive trance album, and not a full on trance anymore ... it's a pitch off psychedelick in lighty and luminous side, not rich and speed .. but relaxing psytrance . Pretty good album Kiss

I bought the cd few week ago cause i think this south african artist is a great talent, but i really think its music miss some power, some energy. All the track for me are some good ideas but there are all pretty empty, one exemple is the track refractions, its own some very nice melody (2 or 3 different ideas explained by different melodies), but it's not fully explored, at the end off this track i feel hungry, where is the power ... ? I read that a lot off people liked it a lot, and especially avalon 's track, but it doesn't kick my ass by the bassline, and don't blow my mind by the melody, don't make me voyage with the voice and transition between the ideas, what do you like in this track ? I feel a big potential in its album, but maybe not used like i would to be. I dunno, i feel alone now ... can i dance with you guys anymore ? plur

I remember when i listened sustentator for the first time, at the end off the album i thought i didn't want to listen to it another time ... not yet, and 2 years have past and i still didn't give another try to explore this music. Sustentator was disapear of my memory. I find that dark industrial oriented, with a very nice talent in using sample, but it miss something for me, a light, an history, or maybe one melody. I have to admit i meet some difficulties with technologic too, more archaïc, and more intelligent. To fix the music is not so easy, and sustentator is more digestible. Not memorable. I have not really some favorite track, and global note for me is : 5.5/10.

Why not ¨Promon - Funky Fumes" , for dark forest, and "Bodh Gaya - Ayahuasca", for more tropic forest or jungle.

i just see that too, that's great
