i completely agree. i find trying to listen to completely different styles of music when im tripping very "eye-opening" in fact. i tend to live listening to Floyd when im tripping, but that is psychedelic music anyways. we put on some country and western for a laugh and forced ourselves to listen to it for 15 minutes. it was so funny because it was so terrible. everything is beautiful if perceived in the correct chosen way.

SA full on is pretty much the only style of full on i like. because it is different and not typical isreali full on. its way more complex and raw. it may not be the future. but it still rocks. not to mention the parties are amongst the best in the world. (best locations etc...)

its not horrific, its cool i especially love the picture of the dude mopping all the blood up afterwards...
-
i know Empty Space would appreciate this. i was at a GWAR concert last night. oh my god what an excellent experience. i have bruises all over. ive lost my copper arm band ive worn for 4 years, i got covered in head to toe in fake blood, sperm and vomit, i am deaf and hungover. incredible. and i would do it all again. the best part is when a fake micheal jackson came on stage swinging a fetus (complete with ambilical cord) over his head, and it started spraying fake green vomit into the crowd (i got it in the face). then the main dude walks up to micheal jackson and rips his face off, exposing the bone and flesh (this sprayed more fake blood into the crowd, much to their delight) and preceeded to put his ripped off face over his own and dance around with it. sick. but funny. i would recommend their shows to anyone who likes rock music. its vile entertainment at its best. recommended

south african parties april-july
Ov3rdos3 replied to bluemonkey's topic in General Party & Travel Talk (Worldwide)
every party i have been to in london sucked compared to the outdoor festies we have in capetown. you cant compare to locations i capetown to the ones in london. -
another cool genre would obviously be Braai-Trance. for any south african outdoor food festival. but P$Y-trance is a pretty good one.

born and bred. ek ook hou daarvan om dagga te roek.
-
LOL, yeah brilliant one Mylez, and as said above, l337 photoshop skillz. love the "get rich and kill psytrance while trying" its all about the P$Y

millenium hoffmans...oh sweet jesus i remember those. they were FCUKING strong. i made the terrible mistake at that vortex party by taking 2 at once ( a feat i could usually manage quite easily). 60 minutes later i was huddled alone in my tent, rocking back and forth realising the aweful and irriversable mistake i had evidently made. mylo, you will know what i mean when i say... Tomato Soups. *shudder*

mattman, i nearly fell off my chair watching your signature...now that is fcuking funny man.

£2 take it or leave it freeloader.
-
i think ill just bury it in my backyard. and crack the cd, so its evil cannot be listened to by future generations if found. 2 pounds is something like 20 euros LOL!!!! stupid weak european currency.

you clearly have no idea what your talking about psy fi. she's a bitch for many other reasons and i will say so if i want AND in the process not give a toss what you think. so keep your opinions to yourself. have a nice day.

Colin, yeah, Just a ride is a great tune...in fact...i was actually listening to it this mornning on my iRiver on the way to work. quite original and a nice positive message beind it too. i too will be purchasing one of your psychedelic trance music compact disc compilations. nice work man

how about some Barn Trance? (think Billy Ray Cyrus meets Skazi)

hmmmm....well, i love juno reactor, but its not typical psychedelic trance. albeit very good (whatever it is, hehhe). i can think of similar acts, but they arnt neccesarily psychedelic trance acts. try: (non-psytrance) * Portishead * Morcheeba not trance at all, but for some reason portishead reminds me of juno reactor. nevertheless both are totally excellent. worth a listen. very chilled out. if you want something more dubby, but still psychedelic * Hallucinogen - In Dub * Ott - Blumenkraft or if you want something more psychedelic and twisted, yet still chilled out and very original albums * Shpongle - Tales of the Inexpressible * Shpongle - Are you shpongled? * Infected Mushroom - B.P. Empire. * Chillum 3 and if you want some light moring tasteful full on psytrance try * Silicon Sound * Protoculture and if you want some aggressive dark psychedelic stuff try: * P.P.S Project - AC vs DC * Anything off TimeCode Records * CPU - Computer Error I think personally all the names i have given are all really good. definitely all worth a listen. hope that helps a bit mate. OD.

What music are you listening to right now?
Ov3rdos3 replied to Sputum Rotgut's topic in General Psytrance
BEST track on that album: break and enter. (track 2) -
ill give you £2 for the misted muppets cd.
-
agreed. the latest stuff to come of SA is indeed top quality and very good. albeit a bit dark, but still very good and original. anything off TimeCode and Nano Records should satisfy your....ear-buds?

ive heard midnight storm (i bought it) i like track 8 (twisted system - twisted tiger) but to be honest, its a bit violent and mad for my liking. i prefered Timecodes last record, the Turning to it, but thats just my opinion. i couldnt sit through the whole midnight storm album really. its a bit too much. -
if anyone wants to sell Ott - Blumenkraft ot V/A Butterfly dawn, please PM me. im really looking for these albums. thank you.
