the whole BP empire CD is awesome and although many would disagree with me, personally, i think its the best one. i find it far more detailed than the gathering and classical (dont talk to me about the other ones, they done exist). Dancing with Kadafi. best track ever. Unbalanced (Babykiller rmx) - i love this tune too. Bust a Move. Return of the Shadows. Release me.

sorry guys, but im having errors here at work reading the 1st page. what day is it released again? and where can i pre order it? btw cinos, i was listening to Sphongle Remixes this weekend and i really like the album. you dont like it though, why is that? i like it coz its quite dubby, almost OTT style, i thought the whole album was pretty good.

i actually like CPU, this album is pretty full on though, a bit TOO crazy at parts, but still i guess its still typical CPU style, mad, fast, aggressive and twisted. very good, but listening to the whole cd from end to end is quite tedious. raping-your-grandmother music

etnica used to be good...but there later stuff is very "average". not bad. but certainly not jammed in my cd player.

well, its a tough one. yes, Eurotrance is trance that comes from europe, but not all trance from europe is Eurotrance. Its more "simple" and "less full sounding" i guess. here is a few songs / artists to give you an idea. it is usually quite cheesy / catchy and can usually be found on compilation cds, that you could buy from your local supermarket. Lasgo - Something Ian Van dahl - castles in the sky err...i cant name any others really....and proud of it to be quite honest. have a listen..........if you daaaarrreee...... Cinos: Yes sorry dude, that was a mistake. Rank1 is definitly not hardtrance. it is more epic / eupphoric / uplifting trance. my bad

Cosmic gate, is a very specific / original style of hard trance. its actaully Hard Dance. in the UK, hard trance would best be described as stuff from the following artists (here are a few examples) Candyman - Lab 4 (guyver rmx) anything from Lab 4 Stimluant Djs Phil Reynolds K90 Rank1 those are actually "good" hard trance artists. might even be worth a listen....

vocal EURO trance. vocal trance is too vague. vocal trance could be any type of trance tune with singing in it. i.e. tikal - breath. although that is vocal psytrance.

some of tiestos earlier stuff was quite good. the more euphoric, less cheesy stuff i could actually stomach. but thats not EUROTRANCE, it falls under progressive, uplifting club trance of the late 90s' EUROTRANCE in my books, is like Lasgo, and Ian van Dahl, castles in the sky, chedder choons.

you cant say that. the difference between the delta and the green nuns is not as extreme as say, lasgo and tiesto. tiesto USED to actually be alright back in like 98 / 99 etc. largo is just vile i-dont-wanna-leave-you-coz-i-love-you-too-much-baby commercial eurotrance crap.

lol!! tis tru though....eurotrance is just plain unacceptable. its fair to say i hate 95% - 100% of it. i dont even like more "grown" up commerical trance , like uplifting, hard trance etc. eurotrance is like playing with your own sh1t. no matter how much you mold it and change it, and rearrange it. its still sh1t in the end.

I am going to put an end to this silly debate. this is the most simple and easiest way to describe what Eurotrance really is.

I thought it might be interesting to hear how some of you mix your tunes in a set. why not give a point form description of how you do it, perhaps we could all learn something from each other? ill go first... 1) obviously have one tune playing and the other in cue. 2) monitor both (but only have the one playing on the main speakers) 3) beat match them, make sure the pitch is right, then reset the other tune to the beginning. 4) fast forward the other tune to the very first beat (i skip the intro) and cue it right there on the very first beat after the intro. 5)set the equalizer on the 2nd tune. turn the mid totally down. turn the low freq totally down. leave the high freqs normal. 6)towards the end of the 1st tune, wait for the right timing (it goes in 4x4 obviously, but can be as complex as 16x16 or even 32x32, if that makes sense) 7)start the 2nd tune as the beat lands on the 1st part of a 4x4 (or other) section.(crossfader only on the left, playing the first tune through the speakers only) 8)do minor adjustments and get the beats spot on. slowly bring the crossfader toawrds the middle. 9)simultaniously turn the mid equalizer on the 2nd tune up and turn the mid down slowly on the 1st one. 10) wait for the end of a 4x4 section and quickly turn the low freq (bass) of the first tune down and the 2nd tune up. this will change the bassline quickly, but the tune still stays the same. 11) then u usually just let it fade out with the crossfader or slowly kill all the equalizors on the first tune and fade it out that way. phew...so thats how i usually mix a tune. how do you guys do it???

there isnt a track on BP empire that i actually, dislike. its "good" at worst. Dancing with Kadafi is the best tune by far. even now, i havnt heard anything even remotely similar. some people compare "streched" on their last album to it. but honestly i think its absolute crap compared to Dancing with Kadafi.

..o...k....that doesnt reaaaaaally make any sense, but then again, trance doesnt have to... i love the bassline in Unbalanced (track 2), when it gets going, its quite a nasty track (but in a good way )
