  1. ok, not 100% psytrance, but definitely 100% psy. the best ambient tune i have heard in ages.. 1) Pink Floyd - Cluster One amazing intro to their final album The division bell. this is just so well produced, its amazing, so chilled out, and beautiful. simply brilliant. if you love psychedelic ambient, you will love this tune. the piano and guitar in this tune is so good it gives me goosebumps everytime. definitly worth a listen if you havnt heard it yet. i played it to a few of my mated without telling them it was pink floyd and they were convinced it was some new psychedelic ambient cd i had. 2) Dancing With Kadafi i wouldnt call this ambient, more downtempo, but i have to agree with you, fantastic tune. probably one of infected's best works. its got so many different parts to it, and every single part is brilliant.
  2. i was thinking the same thing (this would be "one of those posts" then) hehe, i have over a 1000 of those posts....
  3. its unreleased as far as i know. its on the soulseek compilation album its really really crap. i cant beleive anyone could call that trance. hardhouse is more trancy than that.
  4. i think the skazi = metallica seek and destroy remix is absolutely aweful. no creativity at all. just added a beat, a repeative bassline. and hi hat. thats it.
  5. i occationally have a "no cannabis day" but never a "no cannabis month" i would flip out if i didnt get my daily toke. ive tried. i cant go 3 days without smoking.
  6. yeah, beethoven sounds quite dated.
  7. its bloody freezing in london. as usual. i seriously cant stand the weather here. havnt seen the sun in about 2 weeks.
  8. you lucky bugger. im sure you will have a excellent time there. just take it easy with uncle 'sid. im sure you know why. just when you think you have it aaaaalll under control. it kicks you in the nuts. have a great time though. i will be going to goa later this year (for the first time, so im pretty excited)
  9. hmmm....perhaps not everyones favorite (but definitely mine). I would look in to some Pink Floyd. Ive been listening to Dark Side of the Moon. perhaps the most "commercial" album of theirs, but the production of it is still top notch. its an excellent chillout-psychedelic cd. i think if you appreciate true psychedelia, you would love this album. my 2 pence worth.
  10. i think "gastoonkinflupped" is a better one.
  11. we have created a monster...
  12. I think you will appreciate the Astrix albums too. very infected(is) in my opinion. Astrix - Eye to Eye Astrix - Artcore Also, if you like infected mushroom, i personally found "Infected Mushroom - B.P. Empire" to be there most ellaborate album. i think you'll like those... hope that helps! cheers OD
  13. I think we should have a Top 10 funny words section. words that just sound funny when you say them over and over. my top 3 would be something like this 3. Anus 2. Elbow 1. Jabberwock those are indeed, very funny words in my opinion. perhaps you guys can come up with funnier words? (this hasnt gone off-topic has it?) edit: "banana-phone" is quite good as well.
  14. Amen. cape town psy festivals are the best.
  15. lol yeah, "blunts, bitches and LSD"
  16. thanks buddie. i will check those out. i havnt got Ott - blumenkraft, but i know that it is apparently really really good. i might actually order it now. thanks man.
  17. i just saw the cover and i was like..im not listening to that.
  18. you sure did, those are wicked tunes. im digging the Juno stuff. i could listen to this stuff all day long.
  19. What would you rate as the best chill out albums you have heard within the last year? i want moooorre!!!!! you can never be too chilled. I would say that these albums are very good (or i like them very much) Chillum 3, 1st CD of the Tsunami Benefit Album. Chillosophy 3 anything similar or good you guys like to listen to when you are busy getting in some serious chill time? UN-psy... I also like to listen to: Morcheeba Pink Floyd Groove Armada that sort of stuff.
  20. I found another few excellent tunes i like and would love to get more like it. or similar stuff. im not even sure what style it is, so im kind of lost. but any suggestions from you guys is always apprciated. Juno Reactor - Angels and Men Egg - Lost at Sea Jirah - Healing Hand these tunes are so good, i just have to have more of it. any ideas?? thanks guys OD
  21. so its I-Psy? (with my little eye). sorry, its late and im tired.
  22. no, i know dude, dont worry, im not having a go at you. its like for me, there are 2 kinds of full on. you get the hardhouse with psy sound, skazi, exaile, crappy, dodgy really harshe sounding full-on which i really dont enjoy, and then you get the more subtle, creative, uplifting full on (morning full on), which to a degree, i really do like, but i am still very pick about it. jamez-23> i will check that out. i really like laidback funky proggy psy stuff as well. somthing groovy is great to start a set off with, then it can progress into slightly higher bpm , more full-on-ish stuff, but still nothing too in-your-face-grinding-your brain-into-mush stuff (like neuromotor - the brain forest) if its KILLAAAARRRR, i dont want it.
  23. yeah, but that doesnt mean its bad. they are really good tunes. im also not a fan of most full on. but if its well produced and i like it, then i like it. i want start off the set with more progressive stuff and end off with that style.
