hmm..ok, i guess i wasnt clear enough. something energetic, but uplifting, a bit of nice vocals here and there wouldnt hurt. progressive even, but it must be subtle. nothing dark or harsh, like psychotic micro or any of that chemical crew shite. more silicon sound-ish. well produced morning, uplifting stuff. not neccessarily full on, as i dont like most full on. only if its really good.

beacuse...as far as mixing goes. Goa Gil sucks.

im trying to find some tunes of a specific style, but im not sure if its full on (its not typical full on though, do dont have a hissy-fit..) (trying to get some similar styles together for a mix) anyone know anything similar to these styles of tunes, and what style that is? Protoculture - Avalon Tikal - Breath (rmx) Benfactor - Helium Dreams these are all of a similar style, energetic, and somewhere in the 140bpm region but i wouldnt exactly call it full-on. thanks guys OD

i thing that a genre called "lie-trance" will emerge very soon. it will sound like psytrance, but it isnt actually psytrance. it will be pop music disguised as psytrance. and they will all be saying, "killlaaaaaarrrrr, this new britney spears full on track is dropping like nuke on the dancefloor" this is lie trance. it will convince you it is one thing. but its actually just commercial sh1t there to make money and lie to you.

yeah man, practice your beatmatching and slow the transition down a bit, dont make it so sudden. it has to be seamless, you shouldnt notice the transition.

Listen to "Rastaliens - The Secret Side" and tell me thats not an excellent tune..
-
Dragonfly - Beaches and Cream: some good full on here, Brain XL - Roadeo Driver etc. TimeCode - The Turning: Rastaliens - The Secret Side (excellent) Tikal - Breathe (rmx) *this is full on right?* Protoculture - Avalon *one of my favorite choons now* theres quite a bit of excellent full on out there actually.

i think its all the things you have a hard time actually pointing at. the stuff thats all over the place really, the chaotic parts.
-
err....no. sphongle is so good, you dont even need drugs to enjoy it.
-
yeah, but we are talking about what makes psytrance sound psychedelic. on acid. psytrance would sound more psychedelic than normal trance. although normal trance would probably still sound great.
-
geez.....i can top that though.. Satisfaction - Benny Benassi (skazi rmx) Skazi - Accelera *(beyond cheesy)* that or : GMS - Cheese balls .....what a dodgy tune.
-
lol you beat me to it. i was gonna say that!
-
remember those words when things go all sh1tty in your life and you need help.
-
correct, i bought it because all the tunes have a certain theme to it, and listening to the whole album really does set feeling for what its all about, like track 2 on the chillout cd : Egg - Lost at Sea. brillant. at the very least, you did your part on helping towards the tsunami disaster by buying this album. it was like 12 quid or something, not even an hours work here in london. well worth it.
-
thats the main box cover, when you take the tripple cd sleeve out its like a big 3 cd sleeve spread and its very good. btw. i like that cover as well. not neccesarily psychedelic, but a very pretty cover indeed. but thats just my opinion
-
LOl!!! thats actually bloody brilliant! would make a great cover i would think. i love it
-
thats the pic on the inside sleeve. it comes in a 3xcd box type thing. its got an amazing 3 sleeve, fold-out type of cover. it is one of the best covers ive seen actually. and yeah, i will admit im not too impressed with the 2nd and 3rd cd (they are OK at best), but the chillout cd is bloody brilliant. all the tunes are really good. especially, Shpongle- Once upon the sea of blissful awareness and Juno Reactor - Angels and Men. very chilled out.
-
i think the cover is well good. excellent in fact. i dont know how you could call that ugly. i dont think you have the actual CD, as the cover for the actual CD is different to the one they have displayed on psyshop or chaosunlimited's websites.
-
Well, im not going to actually review it (because i suck at writing reviews), but i have listened to this CD(s) over the weekend and i must say, the chill out cd is worth the money alone, every single track is nothing short of brilliant. i absolutely love the 1st cd. the 2nd cd is ok, and the 3rd is not bad as well, but i think this cd was well worth the money. i also like the print on the cd itself: "Copying this CD will seriously effect your Karma". heheheh, i guess it would...
-
sorry for bitching, and i would do it myself if i was good enough, but someone needs to review this CD, i ordered it yesterday (should recieve it today) and for £12 i think it was well worth the money. looks like a decent line-up as well. is anyone going to review this anytime soon?
-
yeah i know dude, first and last time. what a rip. it was Fool-On the whole fcuking night, constantly. stressful.

and when you get really good at it, you can have more that 1 girlfriend at a time (just dont get caught like i did, hell hath no fury like 2 woman scorned.)
-
watch your mouth little boy. thats blasphemy.

yeah, when my lady friend and i are in the mood for luuurrrve... i like to not put distracting music on i.e. psytrance. put on some slow grooves on, i recommend some Barry White. you WILL get laid if barry is playing. fact. something slow and gentle. i couldnt imagine making love to something like Xenomorph. it would just be wrong.
