i find Astrix to be quite Infected Mushroom-ish.

i dont find his stuff uplifting at all really. more "infected mushroom(ish)" really. not what im looking for at all. his stuff isnt that energetic either

ok, i am confused. (have been since saturday night, but anyways)...i went to a party (a really crap one) this saturday, but they did play a few wicked tunes....now this is what im trying to understand this is what i see as full on (this is what i dont like): Skazi, Exaile (anything chemical crew really) and i dont like this....but i heard some "full-on" on saturday that blew me away. it was really energetic with a repetitive bassline but it was NOT dark or aggressive, quite "light" but very energetic with very beautiful uplifting melodies. i like this. but i actually havnt heard anything along these lines before. it was full-on, but melodic, uplifting, non-aggressive, yet fast and energetic. not your typical cut-and-paste skazi style which we ALL dislike. anyone have any ideas of what i could look for if i was looking for this style of music.

ok i missed this.....did they remix a britney spears song...?? or did they just use a few seconds sample from it? and then the tune is ok? is a good tune? i cant imagine why they would do that....its enough to actually put someone off psytrance....*shudder*...who was responsible for this travisty?

ok, i made the mistake of going to an Anti-world party in london bridge thinking it would be a nice psytrance party. wrong. it was a load of bollocks. they had a HARDHOUSE room next door, and UPLIFTING CLUB TRANCE room as well and some other dodgy type of music as well. and 1 psytrance room. half the DJs advertised did not pitch. its was £22 fekking pounds to get in. which is extortionate. and it was full of "glowstick ravers" and drunken idiots. and it was FULL of them. like we couldnt move. sardine style. it was the first psytrance party i HATED. damn you antiworld.....damn you.... what a load of sh1t... never go to an event where they are playing different styles of trance (especially commerical, rave trance) as you will get the commercial raver people, who are like "oh i just discovered XTC 3 days ago, give me a hug while i sweat all over you". get away from me bitch! grrrr....i am so p1ssed off.

yeah, it was probably a bad idea, but well orchestrated none-the-less. i wasnt there when it happened i just saw the photos they took of when they did it. if your gonna play really sh1t music, your gonna p1ss some people off though..

everyone at vortex used to get so pissed off coz he always played really crap housy sh1t that no one liked. he wouldnt play proper psychedelic sets and he generally just used to ruin the vibe with his music. then he was walking past (and my mates had been planning this for weeks) , asked if they could take a photo, then my mate ran past and threw a lemon merange pie in his face. he was not impressed. but they told him it was all a stunt and a joke and the cleaned him up and bought him a drink and stuff and he was cool with it, he even laughed about it afterwards. LSD makes one do strange things.

hehehehe, one of my best mates was the guy who threw the pie in his face at Vortex in CapeTown south africa, man that was funny..... he was not impressed.

i think Eskimo would have to pay royalties to the Prodigy for using sound samples from their song. i dont think it will be officially released.

i live in stratford. i used to walk to the Rex when they had parties there they have a sick sound system and its nice and big inside.

i think 99% of people here would disagree with you...

listen to the man needles. he knows what hes talking about. if i could have added a few more albums, i would have put something similar. Freq - Strange Attractors is brilliant, although i would say that Infected Mushroom - B.P Empire is my favorite album of theres.

this isnt really neccessary...we all know the truth. i find there is more diversity here.. i feel like isratrance is a bunch of people who have just discovered psytrance. KILLAARRR!!!! where as here, we tend to use more descriptive descriptions that KILLAARRR!! and there is a much wider variety of tastes. i also find its a bit more mature here. (sometimes).
