hmm I just made the comparison because they started using more vocals and commercial elements in this one.. besides other artists like neelix and cafe del mariachi did electro/minimal like things

it has not much to do with psytrance indeed, but sometimes it is still psychedelic although it is commercial.. Ticon makes more accesible and easy listening music now but I still think this album has some nice tracks (except the first one is really yuck, that is just gay cheese) so it is true that this isn't trance anymore but at least to kept some integrity and that's not what you can say about Infected Mushroom and Skazi..

well been listening to the album a lot now!! I don't know if I think it is better than the zero six after album, it is more commercial (some tracks) but still very nice!!

ticon is my favorite progressive (and one of the only ones I really 100% like), just because of the nice minimal and electro influences (some people here look very narrowminded about crossovers here ) Their last album Zero Six After was fucking amazing and according to the review it must be very good High exceptions to the track that is allmost as good as Soopertrack!

dunno but especially in goa/psy I like this tempo the most.. for dark psy 148-156 bpm (but lately there is a lot of good psy on higher tempo like furious) and for suomi i like around 142 BPM

haven't heard psymatix completely.. i do listened a lot to the happyfunland track w digitalist, and that track is really good I like this more though, very neat production and orginal style and sound one of the best albums this year

well i voted 140-160, but i like music at all tempo.. there is downtempo at 100 bpm i really like and there is hardcore at 200 bpm which is also really devastating

this is really great!! I'm listening to it and i'm very glad about it (so far i didn't really like the remix of the loopus track) very fresh indeed blend of funk, electro, disco, minimal, suomisaundi and progressive trance = psychedelicaaaa (so far i didn't really like the remix of the loopus track)

well 5 years ago most psy was more boring than now, i consider music from now more energetic and you don't have to wait for the climax anymore I think there will be also a sort of revival of goatrance but more blended with new elements but dark psy will rule the scene, maybe more commercial parties, but lots of quality releases and also a lot of uptempo

like stryder said, we call it night full on.. the border between night full on and dark can be small but usualyy you can separate them easy.. the buildup in night full on is more like regular full on with more breaks and long rising sounds.. but some people call some tracks by naked tourist and electrypnose f.e. night full on and others call them dark, hard to draw the border sometimes

ever heard of the amen break? whole subgenres like jungle are built on it, so why can't you sample a kick.. sampling bass is lame though

didn't give it a full listen, but the tracks i checked were very well produced en highly psychedelic as usual!! it's great to see that there are artists who keep innovating and improving
